Because what I feel is that not everybody loves to wear fancy clothes, filter their appearances on Instagram, have unrealistic fitness goals and all in order to update one's looks. But people are literally forced to do it in order attract more audience and all. I think this can create a lot of mental health crisis.
By looks, she meant to look presentable, and not in the sense that you have to look pretty or wear fancy clothes or put on tons of makeup. Being presentable simply means wearing the right kind of clothes at the right place, the right looks and whatever. Even if you are wearing a simple 200 shirt, you should be able to carry it with confidence. Sometimes people wearing expensive clothes also don't carry them well and that does not make sense. For example, if you are gonna have a meeting with a client, the suitable outfit should be something formal, be it pants- shirt, dresses or ethnic. You can't go to that meeting wearing a bright red sequin dress. That will turn the other person off. Hope you get the point.
What's so big about keeping yourself presentable? And, who told you that you have to wear makeup, buy expensive clothes and have ig model like figure to be presentable? Dress right for the occasion. On top of it, if you yourself put efforts in dressing up neat then you too will feel confidence in yourself.
Could you please use mic while recording videos? Please don't mind. It's very hard to listen without headphones. Sound seems low in full volume without headphones. Thanks.
