I can't lie. I was on that Khaled vibe more during his Snapchat days -- STILL DON'T KNOW WHAT DJ KHALED ACTUALLY DOES THOUGH but I have nothing but love for the guy and his family. Blessings in action.
Cyril M he's more or less the coach. he has a team of producers he works with, and when they get a beat he likes he finds who would be good to rap/sing on. to my knowledge he kinda gears the directions of the songs in the creative process how he wants as well. then he mixes and masters his tracks, which people go to college for alone. he doesn't per se write, rap, sing, or make beats though.
He actually made beats in the past, he knows how to work beat machines like MPC's. There's a video where he explains what he does, it's called something like "DJ Khaled explains the difference between beatmakers and producers"
he tells producers to produce his music then claims to be a producer.
Hes actually a smart manager.
But producer? "we the best music" ??
nope...
quizr it's actually really smart cause if you're a dedicated manager to something you more than likely will be based of salary but if you set yourself up as Khalid did that's BIG BAGS every song with his name on it
