It's pretty great that you talk about your issues in such a down-to-earth manner.
I also had panic attacks mixed with social phobia in my 20s (now I'm in my late 30s). It was a nightmare, as if I didn't belong to normal life anymore. The trick was to accept it, be prepared, and kind of welcome those feelings. It took me a while, but now I just look at it as a bad dream. I still sometimes have nervous moments when someone catches me off guard by singing 'Happy Birthday' in a group as a surprise. I get flashbacks of anxiety in those moments, but they happen only once in a few years, so I don't bother much. Anyways, the key was to accept it, not push it back, and it vanished.

These always compound. Depression can lead to anxiety. Anxiety can lead to depression. Constant anxiety, high heart rates, and then extreme panic attacks are disabling. Keep going forward and making music and boosting your mental health because it boosts those around ya! Cheers!

Thanks for sharing 🙏 Mind is a fucked up mechanism.. That’s why I think Non-duality / Self realization is the best „medicine”.

I've been suffering from episodes of anxiety since summer last year. The only way to overcome it is to expose yourself to the fear until you no longer see it as something so catastrophic. I'm handling it so much better now. Yes, thanks to that, I drink a lot less, which is much better for my health

She says the truth 100%. Changing your perception of anxiety to a thing that you want to avoid at all costs, to be something you perceive almost as a gift, that gives you some benefits that can be exploited like strength and drive vs a scary ghost or monster that you run from and avoid.

Very recognizable. As you sad (and other comments here) Learning how to put the anxiety into perspective, practice (exposure) and meditation really changed my life. Just let the anxiety be instead of fighting it or getting angry at yourself. For anyone still suffering, try to find help. It’s something you can learn to deal with.

I've been suffering with my mental health a long time, and hearing music from the likes of you and Ren really help make it seem a little easier in some way. I started making quizzes as a way of coping myself, which is really helping, but I think just accepting this is who we are, and using the mechanisms you mentioned just makes life a little easier. Thanks for sharing your story and being open about your struggles. And keep producing awesome music 😊

As someone with BPD- I appreciate people actually making music and talking about some of that- and it feels like you capture it in a real way- so thank you

I’ve struggled with panic attacks and anxiety as a result of an emotionally abusive relationship and while the episodes are less frequent now they still like to hit at the worst times 😢
Music has helped me so much to cope a lot of it

Personally, I do not say or define situations as gift or 'for my goodness'. These situations were bad, really exhausting but "I" turned them to a pearl, made them precious experience. I use the word pearl, because as far as I learned, pearls made by shell when it gets sand particles inside them, then, as a protection mechanism they made that ordinary particle of sand to a colorful illuminative pearl. I just wanted to share with you. Thank you for your music it is like a carnival for my ears🎉💥💐

I’ve been fortunate with this for a few years now, but seeing this makes me dread the next one a little less (if it happens again). Thank you very much! (Could “If It Happens Again” be your next song title? Hmmmm...)
