'been making at a slower rate', continues with showing an insane amount of handspun yarn. How am I ever going to believe you again? 😅 Glad you found the time and the spoons to record this ❤
Hahahahaha this is lots and lots of weeks of insomnia driven spinning but that’s my favorite thing to do - every other thing has completely been dropped.
Hihihi Tazhi ! Pleeease never apologize for taking breaks. It's kind that you mention it of course, but it is such a gift that you share some of yourself with the world. You don't owe anyone consistent videos, and I for one, just simply love the snippets of beauty you share with us. Full stop.
Just discovered you today. As someone who has been spinning for more years than I care to admit it’s wonderful to see someone young enthusiastic about spinning.
It's so good to have you back - I literally squealed when I saw you put a new video up! Hearing you talk about carding and spinning and how your Me-Made-May has evolved just brings me so much joy. I love hearing you talk about everything you've been up to, so thank you for taking the time to make this video 💕
I have missed you! but I'm so glad you took the time you needed for yourself, and you definitely don't have to apologize for that. Always here for whatever you have to share, Thank you!
Can’t imagine what else we would need to know about your new wheel! So glad you are enjoying it and your spinning looks so lovely. Thanks for sharing!🌸
good to see you back! glad you're not pushing yourself to film when you're not up to it. not gonna lie, missed seeing your lovely face and hearing you geek out about your fiber arts, but oh my gosh its ALWAYS WORTH THE WAIT!
HI Tazhi, It's really nice to hear from you and see your yarn spinning creations. Your yarns are exquisite. Thanks for sharing with us!!! Carrie from Northern San Francisco Bay Area ❤🐕🐑🌻☕🌦🧵🪡🧶
Beautiful spins! Congratulations on the new Flatiron. These are true beauties. I am sure that you will enjoy it. Single treadle, double drive saxony style wheels are my favorite type of wheel... I am old fashioned that way 😂
Fiber joy and wool chaos! Good to see you, glad you prioritized your health and your spoons and energy resources! Its important to take care of ourselves so we have the energy to do the things we love ❤️
So good to see and hear you and what you’ve been making. Glad the spoon supply increased enough for you to film! I do all my socks toe-up to make sure my size 11 feet get covered. I think toe-up makes the most sense for our long feet. It’s good to see you knitting whatever you want to. Cast on all the projects that bring you joy! Sending hugs, harpingJanet
i've been thinking it would be nice to see you on here again, and here you are! 🙂 agree that DPNs are the devil's pick-up sticks; i like using 2 short circulars, but those flex-tips look verrrry interesting. happy spring!
Good to see you again! I watched this whole flying on my way to my wedding and it was the perfect vibe and energy level. Thanks for sharing your delightful makes with us!
Ooooh I have the storage bobbins from the Woolery. They were only $10 a bobbin BUT they attach to your drill ! So they are super fast to wind !!! It’s a much cheaper option than more bobbins for your wheel 🥰.
Tazhi! I've missed you 🤗 I have a question for you about your sewing patterns. I bought several patterns on Sew Liberated but I really don't want to print out a gagillion pages on my printer and try to tape them together. 🥵🤦♀️ What do you do when you purchase an online sewing pattern? Thanks! (FYI, I just started spinning on a wheel and so far I love it! Thank you for inspiring me)
You could consider using the large scale print shop versions of Sew Liberated patterns. Ewe Fibers (and probably many others) will print out your pattern onto large sheets and mail it to you. It is an extra cost, but saves time and your own printer ink/paper costs.
Been missing your podcast and then you popped up in my feed this morning. Amazing to see the energy and joy you bring to making. Beautiful spinning. Love the socks, by the way Andrea's sock pattern looks very long as you are knitting it. And the dress you modeled is gorgeous. Can't wait for the next listen to keep me company as I knit.
I send my patterns to PDF Plotting if I don’t want to tape it together but most of the time, I don’t mind the work of taping the pages into the pattern.
My spindle spun ALWAYS turns out as lace weight and its so frustrating. I can never come up with what to knit with it because I HATE KNITTING LACE WEIGHT.

I love my Flatiron but omg. Putting it together. A journey.
Beautiful projects! But I could've used more of a D&D update, if I'm being honest :) Glad to see you!

Hey There! Glad to see you back!
Hello, so happy to see you here. Your spinning on Instagram has given me the push to get back to my spinning. Gorgeous yarn!

Yay! You're back! Love your yarns! 🥰
Congrats on your new wheel!
Missed you.
This is my first video and I'm so happy to find a trans fiber artist and their podcast. Not enough trans faces out here. 😊❤
So glad you’re here! Also I will literally buy any carded fiber you want to part with
I LOVE flexi flips
We'll take you whenever you show up :D
you can cross lace on the flatiron. i do it all the time:)
I just wind off my bobbins into balls with a ball winder to store yarn for plying

3 ply and 4 ply spindle spun skeins all day forever and ever - otherwise these are going to be useless.
The sock color is so hobbit core to me. I understand past Tazhi for that choice. I would do that too
