Loved seeing your collection, I think we all just have random containers filled with samples and perfumes. One day I'll organize it but for now, mayhem. Also your bf is so majestic looking. You look gorgeous together
Ahaha yeah my collection needs better storage. I had actually found and painted a new box, and thought it would neeeevverrr sell and that it would eventually become my box - but it did sell! Yippeee!!! And thank you so much, I've told Bird your comment and he's beaming, majestically!
omg! I just watched this video & I was thinking the exact same thing about her bf lmao! He could totally pull off like a fairy prince role or even like a forest elf, that wanders the forest, saving lost human girls😅 idk but you two really do make the most beautiful, interesting(in the best kind of way) couple! Just beautiful Humans! Or are you both secretly magical beings? Guess we shall never actually know lol.
I wish I'd done that, I've accidentally bought the same scent 2-3 times from Ajevie without even realising it until the bundled packages arrived at the same time.
As a guy who wears kilts… in the winter…in Sweden, is a ceremonial magician and a member of weird lodges….OFCOURSE i love the fragrances you talk about. The whole ambience and aestethics of your videos for that matter! 🧙♀️🍀🌹🪵🌳
This made me feel so much better about my own collection size hahaha. Witch's Cottage was among my first ever purchases as well and I remember it being nice but not quite what I expected.
The only thing I'll give to the IMAM group is that they're (mostly) small houses, using it as a form of LIBERATION and whatnot, rather than trying to sell out and use shock factor. Although, i'm sure of that's part of it too lol
@@knockthrice their boutique is located in Montreal! I’m not sure how long they’ve been in business.

Pardon me would love to have a huge perfume collection, not so much of a designer fragrances, but of really interesting fragrances that are just an ola factory exploration. But at the same time I love maintaining a small collection because I've become close to the perfumes that I love. And I associate them with memories and things like that. If I was wearing a new fragrance everyday that wouldn't be possible.
Hi there... fellow youtuber here. So glad to have "found" your channel as I was looking for reviews on Solstice Scents, one of my favorite houses. So excited to learn more about the other indie brands you speak of. Love your style! PS: I love banana scents... must look into the one you talk about.
Hi there I just discovered your channel it's very fun and easy to watch your videos I don't know anything about independent perfumery but I want to learn because I really enjoyed new scents in general... CAPPUCCINO WHIT CROISSANT??? I
Wow what a story! Maybe you should make your own channel aha. I'll try and post more perfume videos soon, I like making them as well! Check out the subreddit indiemakeupandmore as it's a great place to start, and you can check this out, which I helped write: stereoplasm.com/pages/indie-perfume-guide-1
Can I ask you it's a one place or website where you can go and get mostly of the independent perfumery? Can you please tell me where to go or look so I can get SAMPLES or I have visit every single website house separately or it is couple of websites where I can find the majority of them Pretty please let me know I would appreciate it so much!! LIKE CAPUCHINO AND CROISSANTS!! THANK YOU
You can check out etsy, ig and reddit’s r/Indiemakeupandmore. In this subreddit people write thorough and complete reviews of various indie perfume brands, including reviews of the customer service (which I recommend you to read bcs some of these small businesses are shady). There they also make helpful comparisons if you’re looking for specific scents/vibe/seasonal fragrances, and they also do perfume swap events. As far as I know, there is not yet a website especially for locating/browsing different products in one place (like the sephora of indie perfume brands, let’s say), so unfortunately yes, you do have to go to their own etsy and ig page, or the official website to purchase the products. Regarding the shady part, I advise you to get to know the business’ reputation before making purchases (other people’s experiences). Good luck exploring indie brands!
The main sampling one-stop-shop for indie perfume is Ajevie. If you're just starting out, it can be a bit intimidating to consider multiple shipping fees and potentially having to blind buy a full size. Through Ajevie, though, you can get samples from multiple houses (Astrid, BPAL, Death & Floral, Haus of Gloi, Hexennacht, Mr Hex, Poesie, Possets, Pulp Fragrance, Sixteen 92, The Strange South, Strange Fire & Fumery, NAVA, Nui Cobalt) AND have the labels mention all the notes to train your nose. Have fun!
EDPs don't really go off, they just become fainter over time. With perfume oils, it's the opposite: heavier scents tend to age better than lighter ones and become more complex over time, but the average lifespan is about 3 years.
Are you smoking something? Oh hunny, glad you love perfume, that's a start. I've been collecting since I was a teenager, I'm 64. I have a room almost all devoted to perfume. You need to get some perfume books, they're amazing. I prefer vintage, commercial perfume or bottles myself. I have two sets of full chess sets of glass perfume bottles by Mary Chess, my very dear sets. You have no idea what's out there. Good luck👍
250+ bottles takes up so little space. That's a good thing about indies.
