Hey Will, I've got a question here. How does the tap tempo (or adjusting the tempo live at all) work when using the tempo track. Did you have to switch the tempo track to follow instead of lead? Love your work, it's been a huge help and lots of fun.
Will you’re honestly the best ableton Trainer! I’m starting to have issues when I’m running my sessions. I recently bought a Mac mini m1 and I have a show last week and I only had 4 songs in the session and I was having a hard time playing the tracks because the disk button was flashing and the songs were cutting in and out. Had a big show over the summer and I tried to create sections in the songs “it was one big file of the whole show” and because I had a bunch of locators it was doing the same disk problem. What should I do?
Thanks for the kind words and for watching! Check out my video on optimizing Ableton for M1 you’ve got to have that set properly. And locators won’t cause disk overload or any increase in CPU. This is caused by either the m1 bug or playing more samples than your drive can play at once. So keep adding those locators, you’re good there :)
Hey Will is it possible to do this in other daw’s? I don’t have ableton but I have cubase. This is great stuff thanks so much

Be sure your quantization is set to 1 bar lol. Speaking from experience.
