Thanks for the video, you just save me a massive amount of time. You know, it would be better if you used a keyboard capture, because sometimes I forget how to do some kind of the or just dont understand what buttons you pressed when you did something with audio track, but anyways thanks!!!
When I saw the thumbnail I thought for sure this was an advertisement for a class on Udemy or something. You're amazing for putting this on RUclips, I hope life rewards you for it.
anytime anyone asks me anything about ableton ill let them know about this video, if i ever have any question about ableton i will watch this video. this is absolutely insane, the work you re putting in to help the community is just amazing. thank you for everything
This video is not for beginners though... The way he explains things assumes that the viewers have previous experience with DAWs other than LIVE and understand concepts like sidechaining, automation etc... I'm only at the first hour but it seems a bit too fast paced & the terminology is definitely for people who understand music production which kind of defeats the purpose, but it is still very useful for people who already have some knowledge about LIVE but want to expand on it...
@@redpillbulgaria-v2.063Yes you're correct! I'm switching from FL and this tutorial has been most helpful because of the same reason that it's rather fast paced than the other ones out there that cater to people who are starting out with music production. If I was a beginner, it would have been way tougher going through this because of the reasons you pointed out already.
god bless you sir this is the perfect speedrun ableton tutorial for people who already know what they're doing with music/DAWs but don't know Ableton. Not a lot of videos that distill it down like this out there thank you!
Genuinely the most complete and well made tutorial ever. Just switched to Ableton after using Fl for years so I didn't want to watch beginner tutorials going over basic fucking production things, I wanted to know exactly where everything is
Just started on some self taught musical production and you youtube channel is a gem! Thank you so much, when you have no idea how to do what you want, these types of videos are super helpful
I've been using Live since version 9 and finally purchased when 11 launched. Thanks for putting this tutorial on YT for free my brotha - I learned some new workflow concepts.
Huge props to you putting this out to educate us all! Always good to be reminded of some shortcuts or some tools that we may not be using in our everyday productions. I feel like everyone could benefit from this!
Hello sir ! Ableton Live is an old friend of mine but you show me some very interesting workflow with your fresh eyes ! And i have to say that your speed to operate it is so impressive. i wish the best for u from France
Thank you so much for the MPE part, FL studio user from early 2000's, i was searching for note glide in ableton live's piano roll... Really useful video !
Tbh you nailed this I follow oversampled since 2018, and i am so proud of you Because of ur insta stories i can say, that you grow up not only as a musician, but as human also Hope u gonna reach everything u deserve Thank you❤
wow! such a great find. I have done the built in tutorial and watched other videos but this is pure gold. You have answered so many questions in the first hour for me!!
Dude this is awesome, Both me and my 11yr old are trying to learn this. I'm able to do minimum basics, but right now im mixing an album and this is a HUGE HELP for both of us. SUBBED
I’ve been watching lots of Ableton videos - this one just popped up on my recommended feed, but I recognised your name from Simply Always Awake live Q&As 😉 Thanks for the helpful video and maybe see you on another live.
This is insane!....Such a fantastic course, and to put it out for free....I am so grateful....I have now found your website, so will purchase from there, to say thankyou for this....
Played guitar all my life...(I'm over 70)...I'll continue playing...I watched this for about 5 minutes...as a non-technical person...this is WAY beyond my comprehension...where is an 8 year old when you need one?
this is absolutely crazy. you should be a certified ableton trainer, if you don't already are. mental effort, very useful, hope your channel becomes really big, you deserve it. your other videos are very useful too. thanks for being the don!
I want to thank you for making this video. this is exactly what I was looking for. I also knew I found the right teacher when I saw you made a cyber punk pack, when I saw that I was sold.
Very thankful for this video. But I wouldn't call it a tutorial or master class. This video is a demonstration of all the capabilities of Ableton. Great job.🎉
You are a hero. So clear, so precise, insane. I'm taking my sweet time with this and taking notes and practicing along the way, game changer. Thank you a thousand times!
I kept running away from Ableton because it always looked very much like it’s very hard to master and so crowded. Also every musician I know told me how much they detested Ableton. BUT, due to budget limitations(meaning: I had once gotten Live 11 Lite from someone and was out of trials of FL Studio & Logic and no money to buy either one) I decided to put some effort into learning it and I have to say now that I’m beginning to like it. A LOT! Thanks for making this in-depth tutorial, I was looking for exactly that and as much results returned from searching it, a lot of them are either hard to follow or assume I know things which were what I wanted to learn in the first place. A question though, as I mentioned I have Live 11 Lite, at which point would I need to upgrade and to which one, what are the differences between all those versions?
I quit Ableton because I wasn't even able to simply compose and program melodies in it. So I switched to FL Studio, which was the easiest for me so far. But this is gonna be valuable for me and change my mind, I can already tell....
I came here from the audio effects video, this video is even crazier, although I have read the user manual of live (which is very detailed and user-friendly), I still decided to watch your video this week, I haven't watched it yet, but I believe it will be of great help. To be honest, if there is no limit to the number of likes, I would like to give you 100 likes.
