I'm lowkey unironically obsessed with Jordan's conceptualization of "romance" and his idea of connecting "romantically" with people other than his wife.
Brilliant work from Jordan here who clearly understands the nuance around romanticism and sexuality (and how they do not inherently go hand in hand). He clearly has a grasp on the concept of platonic relationships.

These two are quite simply responsible for the greatest talk show moments in history. They're so perfectly funny and insane. They are the Odd Couple incarnate.

I unironically like Jordan. He studies things and he actually travels the world to learn more about those things. A little neurotic, ok, but smart people usually are. There's nothing wrong with being eccentric in my opinion. He's passionate about things and that's what matters to me
I think he would get on my nerves over time like Conan, lol, but eccentricities aside, I do think he's a good person with good intentions. I've known people in that same kind of mental wheelhouse as Jordan but they were nasty on top of being eccentric. Eccentric and ultimately a nice/decent person I can deal with, eccentric and a nasty personality is another thing entirely.
I can also appreciate his appreciation for nuance and details. What I can't appreciate is his lack of social awareness and that he cannot admit that he got angry at that specific moment. Of course, this was all probably scripted but if it wasn't it paints him as a douche. People who claim to know a lot of details about many things who cannot admit that they are wrong get infuriating to be around with really quickly. This means that whatever they think they have learned must be correct because they put in the work to learn it and other people are inferior to them. Not a good look.
This whole thing has "couple that's been married for over 30 years" energy. From the beginning, with both of them telling the other how they were the angry ones time during their vacations all thye way till the end with Jordan planning an expensive romantic trip. I love it.
Jordan has Synesthesia. “Synesthesia is a fancy name for when you experience one of your senses through another. For example, you might hear the name "Alex" and see green.” …. with a dash of Autism 😂❤
It still amazes me how most everyone thinks it’s just a character when that “character” is a bunch of autistic traits that I doubt someone would spontaneously think to assemble for comedy. Shows that most have no idea what autism really looks like. And I wonder if Jordan realizes it, because people asked him on Reddit and he said he wasn’t diagnosed. But bringing up the synesthesia kind of suggests he’s thinking about his differences.
