    Thanks magnetnugget, I just discovered your channel, is one of the best that I have seen! All the hard work detecting, filming, editing and staying out.. and the gold of course! Well your strategy is the key to success! stay out on in the bush for weeks, minimizing fuel and travel costs, increasing detecting hours! Well done my golden friend! All the best!!!

    mark that spot on a map because that could be part of the reef system that has even more Gold below or along the flank of the vein.

    Marvelous detecting. Real slave to that detector the way it goes so deep :) I'd look for where heavy rains might of cut deep into that level and where in the old days might of been uphill to there. Time changes terrain but it can't stop you from finding the good ones mate. Great show.

      Based on the other finds all in close proximity l suspect the same, all the targets formed a fairly straight line and where a mix of quartz and ironstone specimens along with solid nuggets, as its just too hot up there at the moment l felt the best course of action was to sit on it till next season and keep its location a secret, l was very careful not to pan the video, cheers NM.

    How do you sell your gold? You said you were not going to smash it up, are you going to sell it, or keep it? If sell it, how would you figure the value?

    • @TheNuggetMagnet
      @TheNuggetMagnet  6 лет назад

      I dont smash the nicer specimens as they fetch a higher price as a specimen, an SG(specific gravity) test can be done on Quartz specimens to reveal the gold content, l have done this test and will upload the process in the near future, l can tell you this specimen held 95 grams of gold, my intention is to sell this specimen, there are many private and commercial buyers anxious to buy gold, its actually very easy to sell, cheers NM.
