That's a very bad idea Marty McFly, the taste of that adhesive might ruin your tummy, just do the traditional way by boiling your coffee granules in a pot and filter it in a cup. 💪👍
Hello there! Make sure the glue you used it's a food-safe adhesive. You don't want hot coffee leaching possible toxins from the adhesive into the cup :-)

Martin, please do not use the glued glass coffee receptacle. Not a good idea. That can be reordered. I also broke ours similar to that long time ago & I got a replacement - I think in one of the stores. Can’t remember which one. Go online & check where they have it. Mike & Nelly are a very wonderful couple to be with. I like watching their vlogs too. Watching our daily Coronavirus White House Briefing right now. Try playing charade.
just use a pot or a bowl to catch the coffee from the coffee maker. that glue might be toxic and also glass particle might go in the coffee. please throw away that broken glass.
You need to put glue on the outside of pot and retrace along where it was broken. That should seal it as water tight, providing glue is super strong against heat elements & water. Good luck guys!!
Or put a rice cooker (aluminum part) underneath coffee maker, or cook coffee in rice cooker 5-10 until it boils. Then put a clean wht.tshirt to strain the grounds as you put tshirt over the mouth of each cup you pour into. Make a cooking coffee experiment vlog. It'll be fun I swear!!! Try it as a challenge.
Coffee is life but using broken glass fixed with adhesive can be toxic. Buy a new coffee maker :-). ------ Netflix Binge is also our life on some days. Because of Ave, we started watching the Korean Drama, Crash Landing On You! Even my husband is now hooked on the show.
most superglue is acrylic and are very good at gluing glass, Acrylic when dried isn't poisonous but its not recommended to get to much fumes before it dries up. You can in a pinch superglue wounds together. And off course, i would take a little poison, as long as i could get my coffee. its simply a question of what to prioritize. Poison and death ore coffee, i would choose coffee every time.
