knocking someone gentle to say, hello im here, is alright. Punting someone off track on a fricking practice day is just rude and a nogo. Doing it on purpose makes it even more idiotic. Its not a common thing to do in karting, just douchebags do this. Its practice. If you dont like someones driving just go to him afterwards and tell him kindly and with proper arguments to do right. @@R3RS2024 Sadly I've been involved or around a lot worse than these minor issues. As the title says "I Crashed with this Guy ON Purpose..." the decision was made to crash into him, not avoid him, not sort it out like adults in an appropriate manner. This shows a lack of control, reasonable decision making process in a speend environment, what could happen in a real race situation . It's like saying that you hit someone, but it's ok because no-one was hurt. For someone claiming to be a pro driver (Which he is nowhere near that level) and posting it up for lots of young and upcoming drivers to see, many will think that kind of brain snap is acceptable, which it's not at any level. This is about getting views, not furthering his race career.
Man, i drive a senior max kart with a 2007 intrepid chassis and i am struggling for grip in every corner. In every race i am the back pluton and i know i can do better but i am doing this with my entire passion and i will never quit.
I find it so fucking irritating when competition riders deliberately collide and think they are more important than a hobby rider. a hobby driver also just pays his track fee
Whatever happens, you never ever willingly crash into someone else. He just did something dumb and the stewards deal with it, not you. I lose a lot of respect due to this crash.
there's no stewards on a practice day, Plus its absolutely infuriating when a noob wrecks or nearly wreaks your kart and causes thousands of euros of damage. You merely give them the love tap so they have a better sense of what the hell is going on around them, its completely fine to crash people in karting this isn't f1.
@@R3RS2024 I kart for more than 10 years and I know that everyone makes mistakes. You say that his kart could be wrecked, which is right, but then you willingly damage your own and his kart by crashing on purpose. The exact same for me is true when Hamilton brake tested Vettel in Baku and Vettel crashed into Hamilton on purpose. Karters who do this should be banned for the rest of the season.
Hey man, thanks for your comment. I get your point, but I think you are missing a very important piece of knowledge: this is karting. Contact, even though it is technically not allowed, is a part of this sport. From the first time I was on the track to now, I've lost count of how many times I've been bumped off, not counting the times of other moments of contact. In the case of this video, the first bump was to move the other driver out of the way. No damages, no injuries, not even a dirty kart. He just got pushed slightly wide. This is a common tactic, used by everyone in the races and I've lost podiums because of this. Do I complain? No. This is karting. On a day like this there are no stewards, which means no warnings, blue flags or anything. My man randomly stopped in a fast corner which nearly ended both our days. He was so unaware that I thought it was the best option to move him out of the way. No love lost. Now the second one is a different story. The driver is a racer, he has racing experience and what he did was super dangerous to himself and others (366 and myself). I decided to scare him a little by giving him quite a hefty tap. Again, no damages, no injuries and this time he didn't even run wide. Just a tap to scare him into not doing that again. Was it a hard tap? Yes. Was it morally good? Possibly not. Is it a part of karting? Overwhelmingly yes. With my videos I want to show the world the true, unfiltered experience of being a kart racing driver. This is a part of that. If you don't like that: I'm sorry, then my content is not for you, which is okay. Bumping people out of the way is a daily thing for nearly all kart racing drivers. Just look at a round of Rotax or Iame Euro series. If you want to ban every single driver who has ever bumper someone, good luck. There'll be no one left
Hey Bram, i dont know if you remember me, i was Racing with you at Chrono Spa this Year with a MS-Kart. And btw i now your Boss from Genk where we had a nice Talk because of Tent position in Paddock :D The exactly same thing happend to me at the Event in Spa, 1 Chassie everything was fine on Saturday, looked good to drive inside Top5, and on Sunday morning the new Chassie we build up wasnt working anywhere.... so shit happend, look forward and go for it ;)
Bump into another driver on purpose is never acceptable in Karting. You should rather apologize for it than defend your stupid action. Next time just talk to both drivers afterwards. Just stop this childish bad behavior, especially in practice.
Hey, I just bought a second hand 2022 Kosmic and the handling is horrible. I have all the basic setup but it does exactly what you have been describing. I'm not perfect but I've won national championship events so I have some experience with how a kart should feel. With all the standard stuff I have insane jacking to the point of rib pain, the bouncing and back end slides crazy too.
@@RedExions Just with the normal setup my inside wheel will lift up high enough that when it slides out it smashes me down into the seat killing my ribs. You're just suffering from no rear grip?
Ln chassis is more expensive than the tony kart, pretty poor of the OTK group especially when your shelling out $6K. good video mate drivers in western australia do the same, track awarness can be taught the easy way or the hard way :) 😆🤣

I love your videos man but thats just not right. I still remember my first practice with other people in rotax. everyone was flying past me and I was trying my best to get out of the way but it was hard for me to look backwards so I wouldn't impede and to look forward so I could actually stay on track. definitely very overwhelming experience. I understand you may have been frustrated and I also get frustrated at slower drivers now but just keep in mind they're not deliberately trying to impede you. they're just trying to get better at karting
Dirty dog acts, those impacts were not needed, that's just temper not in control, not something a pro (or claimed to be) driver should be doing. You have a lot of young drivers watching, they will think that kind of behavior is acceptable, it's not in racing and even less so in practice, it would get you sent home here if doing that in practice, and in a race, your going to get called up to explain. Think a year off may do you good to clear your head space, the quality of driving standard is decreasing as you go. Yes I have been a full time Pro driver and still get paid to drive other peoples karts today, this was shameful. Why would any one want to sponsor you after these efforts?
I like your vids as well as your driving style but the kid probably doesn’t understand your “kiss”. Just take your time, go chat with him afterwards and explain in a mature way his dangerous action. Not everyone on the track is a pro. Especially when looking for sponsors you’re an example for others…
Impossible. It’s not defective, it’s just low quality. No way to return a chassis to a factory once you used it. The only chance is to have a big team, where they can swap your chassis with a spare one. The old chassis will be then rent to gentlemen drivers, hobby karter etc… Big teams have a high turn over of chassis. That is also why gokarting is an expensive sport.
