    I'm so glad you guys are doing this!! Out of two racks, Bloom has remained the greatest mystery (mostly cuz I really don't like reading manuals) Thank you 🙏

    Thank you for doing this series on Bloom, Johno. I really like it. One thing I was missing, though, was if you could set each steps div/mult independently from the others. That would be a really powerful feature (and an instant buy from me).
    If it can't do it, think about adding it.
    Thanks again, enjoy your late summer.

      Greetings, @electricdawn2258 and thanks for the kind words!
      As for your idea of the individual step editing for div/mult--sorry, you can't do that, but that *would* make a great feature for Bloom!
      Though we don't have any updates planned for Bloom right now, we'll definitely keep this feature in mind should that change, or if/when we revitalize Bloom with a new hardware version!

    I'm real terrible at this, when I use it all 4 steps are the same drowning either I have it on or off but it's 1 sucky note.

      Greetings! Sorry you're frustrated. Sometimes these concepts can take a few times to make it click. Can you explain your problem a little more so we can help you get rid of those sucky notes? :)

      @@QuBitElectronix Actually I have gotten both channels since two days ago to start making different notes and noises (with plaits). I do wish the notes were more in a scale with each other cuz it's random right now, kinda mesmerizing and atmospheric not really music, still cool. I also got chance from you guys that I've barely looked at at all and is even more enigmatic now. Bloom looks harder though and I really want to understand it. I'm on a discord, people are really nice, I send videos of my patches and they direct.
      I wasn't expecting to see anything from QuBit, thank you

    Why is the per step mode stopping the sequence?
    The Bloom is a very cool sequencer, but this little thing stops me from buying one, because stopping the sequence is a no go in using it live

    • @QuBitElectronix
      @QuBitElectronix  Год назад +1

      You can loop the per-step mode editing page by pressing the channel button. Bloom will loop the current page while you edit the individual notes. If you want to advance to the next page in your sequence, you can press the reset button. Bloom remembers this setting as you jump in and out of the per-step editor, so you only need to perform it once!

    Is there any way to copy individual steps within a pattern in the per-step note editor? Really like this sequencer but sometimes have a hard time dialing in multiple of the same note in the same sequence with the encoder.

    • @QuBitElectronix
      @QuBitElectronix  2 года назад +1

      The notes within a single pattern are only assignable via their encoder. We'll definitely keep this type of configurability in mind for future developments!

    Would it be possible to do any of the following with firmware updates in the future: change any of the steps created from the branches variations or mute some of the notes and change the clock mult time on ratcheted.
    Love this module by the way, im having so much fun it it!

      Greetings! Both great ideas. :)
      Our situation with Bloom and future firmwares is explained in the description above.
      Thanks for watching, and glad you're liking Bloom so much!

      @@QuBitElectronix Thanks for the reply! That's too bad that Bloom won't be seeing any updates...guessing it was too noisy after Databender, you had 3 versions of that module too right? Maybe you'll make a Bloom 2? Def think that module has a place in the Eurorack space. Would love to see additional support to it or a V2.

    How come you can't add slew without stopping the sequence? Seems a bit of a performance killer. Couldn't you make it so that pressing shift and turning slew selects the step and then pressing slew allows you to add slew to that step?

    • @QuBitElectronix
      @QuBitElectronix  2 года назад +1

      When you are in Per-Step Slew Edit Mode, you can press the Channel button to loop your sequence, while being able to change individual step slew values. Advance to the next page in this mode by pressing the Reset button. Bloom will remember this setting while you jump in and out of any of the Per-Step Edit Modes. Let me know if this helps your performative issue!

    Does the smooth random applied to root in the first patch affect the root on both channels?

    • @QuBitElectronix
      @QuBitElectronix  Год назад +1

      The CV inputs will only change the function of whichever page Bloom is on. If Bloom is set to the Global Edit Mode (hold the Channel button for 2 seconds), then the CV input will affect both channels!
