- Just a quick update on what's been going on with me for the past 4 months after suffering a blood clot in my left arm.

Thanks John! Been thinking about you a lot since you notified everyone. Your lessons keep me going and focused every day. The techniques you have taught are mind-blowing and as a guy who has been playing for two years, you have "upped" my enthusiasm and progress in ways that I'm very grateful for.
Please do a lot of your own research to investigate your health situation. You will find yourself in the company of tens of thousands world-wide who have received similar surprises. I have lost faith in the integrity of the silent-majority of the medical profession.

Good to hear you're Honoring yourself and your Well-being. Really Appreciate your High Quality educational presentations, and learn much, still plan on coming back for a Slide focus, finally got an SG, tuning it to Open E, but will get others, for Open G, A and D I'm thinking. Going to add Lap Steel at some point along with Dobson. I've been working on just Beginning to get my Fingers BEHIND the Slide. - Middle and Ring of my Right Hans, I'm a LEFTY, to Start to FEEL NORMAL and RELAXED RESTING on the Strings, in a Non-Active Way - it's So, VERY DIFFERENT from FINGERING NOTES or Making Chord Shapes. And, I'm Not Rushing or Forcing IT. Thank You Again for Creating Such Excellent LEARNING CONTENT. Keep Getting Better.

Thanks for the update. You are a great guy and I've followed you for so long....and though I have played for even longer -- I've learned a lot from you. Hope the clot problem has passed. Couldn't quite tell from the vid. But if you are on the mend I guess it must not be threatening you any more. I'm nearly 74 (Athiest lol) but it's all about soul for me and you have a ton.

Hang tuff Brother , the Lord has already made use of you by teaching music and a fine teacher you are... I'm sure his plans for you will be revealed he never promised it would be easy for us....but having things happen in our lives makes us grow stronger in him and closer to him. 8 years living with Peritoneal Mesopotamia cancer and remission prostate cancer and I feel him more everyday !

I am 67 years old and I take boiled garlic regularly on my food. It will helps the fluidity of my blood.
To release the strain from my muscle, I have "Yuwell" tool (very cheap equipment) that use small electric pulse and I stick the electrode patches around the strain muscles. So far, it works so good. This tool is normally used by therapist to treat the patient. When I do too much exercise this tool helps me a lot. I wish you well very soon. Keep do light exercise on regular basis such as walking or swimming.

Very challenging to go through anything like this! i've had my challenges as well over the years and they are discomforting to say the least , wishing you a countinuing recovery, sounds like this is getting better, staying strong with God is a big key, and thank you for everything you do for your students !

John I was the one who asked you to re-post your avatar 45 video. I wish I would’ve taken your advice to not waste time on stupid stuff many years ago. I sure hope you get on through this man. John, hope and pray you get better soon. Ive had to deal with several blood clots since 2013, doing much better now. Listen to the Dr's and with The Lords Grace you'll get through this fine.

Deep vein thrombosis is NO laughing matter. I am praying for you also. Try to get out and exercise instead of playing guitar all day, I guess. Hang in there John
