So, got a wild hair over the holiday weekend and decided to add another cover from the request list - this one from my daughter who has been following Taylor Momsen since the days of "Grinch Who Stole Christmas". That's right, little Cindy-Lou Who is now the lead singer of this really great rock band with some badass vocals and killer guitar riffs. They've been around since the mid 2000's and still have a great presence in the rock world. I've always loved this song, and the unapologetic nature of its straight up rock jam. It's another one of those tunes that just gets your head banging and feels like HIIT where you go hard and heavy then pause out for a second before going hard and heavy again. Tons of fun to play with attitude for days. I hope you all enjoy this as much as I did!

Nice kit! You've convinced me that Sabian sounds a lot better than Zildjians! I'm a Paiste 2002 and Signature series guy. You also convinced me to do the pre-chorus on the ride. I have the same exact snare drum head on my kit. We were having a bit of an issue going back into the song after she's singing the last part of the verses. What I came up with is popping the snare after a 10 count once the music stops. Works perfect.
