I don't know if you covered this, but EnterTrainment, in Cincinnati will be closing PERMANENTLY January 5th. If anyone is within traveling distance, go now while y'all can!
These are all incredible news! Here's to the Future of preservation in rail. Fanning continuing into the next year, and I do wish 1225 a speedy yet thorough recovery Ps that view news on the Union Pacific line. I do indeed smell opportunities from more steam excursions, including the return of the daylight and her Mary band, And tell me about the photo. Are they experimenting with passenger service again? Only time will tell 🙂🚂
Fun Fact, Henry from Thomas and Friends has actually mentioned Bahamas in his time at Crewe after his crash on the flying kipper, also 3134 was famously in the First Fast and Furious movie
Awesome updates, as always! I wish nothing but the best for these projects to finish 2024 strong and make continued progress next year. I also look forward to seeing your Possible and Expected Railroad Events video for 2025 (,not that those videos are 100 percent accurate, because there were certainly things that happened this year that were probably on NO ONE's Bingo card, such as the restoration announcements for NYC 3001 and C&O 614 and the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad acquisition of the Georges Creek Division), as well ss seeing what 2025 holds for railfanning and rail preservation in the US and abroad.
In Sacramento they need donations for there engines by next year there tank engine grant Rock 10 will be in service and they need donations for the restoration of Santa Fe 1010 and there yard switcher 4466 after 1010 So the Sacramento railroad muse can have a age of steam again
Amazing news for 90. Nobody does it like Strasburg does. PM 1225s and C&O 2716s progress is very promising too. I know not much is ever released but is there any news on Boston and Maine 3713 at Steamtown? That project has taken about 30 years now…
@@PrrProductions5550 As of a few months ago, one of the Steamtown’s park rangers said the 3713 restoration is about 75% done. The restoration moves at the speed of donations, as Iron Horse Society (Steamtown’s partner) is fundraising for it.
I personally really wanted 3134 to be preserved because it was the engine Vin Diesel and Paul Walker raced in the first Fast & Furious movie.
@@Coloribus2004 well you got what you wanted now. You can thank the Austin Steam Train Association members for purchasing #3134 from Horizon Rail

Good morning happy new year
I’m definitely hoping that 1225 will be able to return to service sometime in 2025.
Same here! This will definitely be one of the locomotives I’ll be supporting with some of my ad revenue.
Hoping that 1225 is ready by next summer
@@RailfanIan1225 I’ll be sending donations to this locomotive with some of my ad revenue.
@@TranscontinentalRailfan I plan on donating too
Thank you so much! Team work makes dream work!

Lucky For Me That Strasburg Railroad 90 Will Be Returning In 2025 Or 2026
Very likely 2025
Fun Fact, Henry from Thomas and Friends has actually mentioned Bahamas in his time at Crewe after his crash on the flying kipper, also 3134 was famously in the First Fast and Furious movie
Can't wait to see them return to operation.

RBMN released the rambles schedule too. They expect 425 to come back
Fresh news to finish off 2024. Heck yeah
2716 looks promising since it was once the pride of Southern Steam Program
That was until she suffered cracks in her firebox.
@DillianTrainzStudios Yup and the same with 1361 too in 1988

I thought 4466 wouldn’t run again
