I also can't figure out why the hell our only color options are white with a little bit of green or black with ZERO green. wtf? I saw this video and freaked out happy as a clam there was a green option - still not a green option on their website. What gives?
Total bummer I agree. Really dumb business move from Kawasaki. I'd like this in green, but seen as it isn't available anywhere, looks like I'll be spending my money elsewhere. Oh well...
Might be they just haven't been good at updating the website. I would check out your local kawasaki dealer and hear what's up if I were you. They might be able to get what you want and it would be better for you to get exactly what you want, rather than settle for something else. :) But that's of course up to you.
My mentality exactly. I went to my local dealer and told them I was very interested in the green model which I haven't seen in the US yet. I asked if there was any way we could ship one in or get one ordered. He informed me that unfortunately these companies (such as kawasaki) are *very* particular about which countries get what products and in what colors and that they can receive them in. I asked if it would be possible to crate ship one across the ocean from a supporting country that had green and he said kawasaki would never support that. I personally plan to test drive the FZ-07 and the z650 and whichever i feel drives better i will get. Later i'll bust out the paint gun and turn whatever bike I end up getting green (my favorite color). Does it suck to have to take matters into my own hands? Yes. But in the two bikes that I want neither are offered in green (in fact with the fz-07 if you want ABS you *must* get the red color as ABS is only offered in red). I guess this is the reality we live in for the motorcycle world. Really stupid marketing decisions. I would suggest both these brands consider having about 3 color options available and ABS available as an option on any of those colors, but then again that's using "logic" which clearly today business decisions in the motorcycle industry are not based upon.

It's either the black on black with more black or the matte white , with a lot of black and a little bit of green ( that is not even Kawasaki green ) on the trellis frame . Really , really dumb and agravating idea . I didn't buy . No green , no buying . It is like going to a Ferrari dealership and find out that Opssss .... we don't sell red Ferraris in this country .
