It's cool to see the people at Lucasfilm making a lot of small things from KOTOR Canon, really like the Hammerhead Corvette's and Taris that we have seen so far in this Lore Play
The Force Awakens board game's galaxy map canonized other planets from KOTOR and SWTOR like Tython, Balmorra, Belsavis and Rakata Prime. Also, giving the Rakghoul serum to Zelka Forn is canon to SWTOR, because in one side quest on Taris you have to go in a ruined abandoned lab to find the serum for some woman who wants to create a vaccine, Ianna Cel, I think that was her name, then help "update" the serum by injecting your character with the old serum, then go out and let your character get attacked by rakghouls in order to update the serum.
+Supreme Leader Smeagol Oh and helping the outcasts who lived in the Undercity find the location of the Promised Land is canon to SWTOR too, because in one side quest on Taris, you get to find out what happened to them. Fair warning, it is a very sad story, makes you wish the dark side outcome, helping that greedy merchant guy was canon instead. The Promised Land turned out to be a ruined land because of Darth Malak leveling the city, which means the children of the outcasts and their children's children and so on will grow up living primitive lives on Taris without blasters and starships and other technology that would help make their lives easy. The Rakghouls, who were busy devouring the countless remains of people who died ever since the destruction of Taris didn't hunt the outcasts and their descendants yet until a century later when the radiation started to make their lives difficult, so the outcasts had a somewhat easy life not worrying about being hunted by rakghouls for several decades. A few generations later, the descendants of the outcasts began to slowly die off because the radiation from the ruined city made it very difficult for them to procreate. One by one the descendants died off until none remained living.
2:37 You could save him! Serum is unlimited in this game, you could save this trooper (though he would die anyways), sick in the village and give antidote to dr. Forn
Rex in RotJ CONFIRMED! I think this makes that scene in RotJ even better. In Rebels they show Rex knows Imperial codes (like Police codes) because they are the same codes the Republic used. If you notice, the bearded guy in RotJ is the one they put in the scout trooper armor to act as the decoy! :D
Grand Admiral Thrawn My bad, it was not confirmed, but it was teased by Dave Fillioni and Pablo Hidalgo at Celebration. They showed concept art of Rex in that costume.
Not sure if you keep track of SWTOR, but the rakghoul story was continued on Taris. They were for the most part eradicated, but over time they grew immune to the serum. It's been years since I played the storyline so I could be wrong. But I remember having to fight rakghouls as both a sith and a jedi on SWTOR.
Yeah, even if you did try to heal that one soldier, you still wouldn't get the chance since he would still turn. However, you do get the chance to heal quarantined Undercity people in a side quest. There really was no way for Celeste Morne to destroy it since she wasn't as strong in the Force as say a Skywalker. That's why she had to remain on deserted planets to keep it from infecting the galaxy. And since the Talisman can turn anyone in its vicinity into rakghouls there's really no way for her to stop it. Cade Skywalker was the only one who could do it since he had the power of Shatterpoint that allowed him to see into the weakness of the Talisman and destroy it as well as reverse its effects.
never saw the consept of a lore play, and i like it. i do wish they were longer actually, but they are still a good way to look through the lore. now to binge, thanks!
2:42, actually, interestingly you can use the cure several times and still complete the Dr. Sidequest. It's isn't intuitive, but the explanation is the doctor doesn't need a full vial, and each contains multiple doses. So you can use it to cure the Republic Soldier (who immediately gets himself killed) the infected Outcasts (you get a lot of light side points) and still give it to the Doctor. Also, you can actually by the serum from the Doctor once he's synthesized it and sell it to the Hutt anyway. He'll still buy it!
Cool! How is Star Wars celebration? In the Jedi council room, do the Jedi arrange meetings? If so, what do Jedi of world do? Do thy just sit down in the middle of s battle and get out a hologram?
I had a horrible nightmare. Where Darth Mur and Sauron decided to open their own jewellery shop. Although they'd probably not work well together. One it a Sith Lord trying to become immortal and all powerful, the other is an immortal lesser god whose probably trying to bring back his master. Mur would be jealous of Sauron and Sauron probably wouldn't tolerate Mur's lack of respect.
There were also nekghouls they were more evolved and intelligent than rakghouls that had lived in the ruins of taris after driving the outcasts to extinction by the time of the cold war. Also don't stop doing good things because bad people want to ruin your previous good deeds.
wow i'm deep into the nerdlands now :D thanks tho, just finished my first kotor play through and your videos help me to longer in this awesome universe a bit longer
Do you think Alden Ehrenreich and Donald Glover will be digitally altered in the Han Solo Movie the same way Guy Henry and Ingvild Deila were in Rogue One?
Taris lore is incredibly explained and built upon in The old republic game. If you ever needed content ideas. I’m sure you don’t. But there are many interesting Taris things to talk about. 300 years after KOTOR
Funny you mentioned Jewelry, but its more of a series of inanimate objects called the Seven Effective Weapons (common mistranslations expresses Deadly instead of Effective) & the Seven Sturdy Shields (again, common mistranslation expresses Virtues instead of Sturdy. Then again, the words Weapons & Shields are also the Common Mistranslations because the actual Definitions are not Befitting to the Items themselves.) There are Two that we know of so well & when I said We, I meant Me & the One referred to as the Sword of Greed. The other one is a Fiscal Counterfeiter known as the Purse of Charity.
You might be thinking of the cthons who appeared in (among other things) darth maul shadow hunter. They were descendants of humans that were banished to the undercity of coruscant. After thousands of years they eventually became nightmarish creatures that look similar to the rakghouls.
Cade Skywalker was only able to destroy it because he used the Shatterpoint force technique. Celeste Morne's mission was also to capture the Talisman because of Hazen and his plan to use Sith Artifacts and the Jedi Covenant to overthrow the Jedi Order.
U know when u get the serum u can use it as many times as u want. Unless my game was glitch because after I got it i used it to cure everyone and stillngave it to the doctor.
Again Canon fanboys in comment section are bitching, that zombies do not belong to Star Wars and it's one of Legend's problems. Godfuckingdammit, can you stop? Because 1. There is nothing wrong with zombies 2. Even if you think, zombies in SW are stupid, then blame Canon as well, because believe it or not, zombies are canon
I dont mind zombies in SW, but this particular story was bad. I like how they presented the plague in KoToR but later they start this whole crazy jewelery things, thousand year hibernation, etc. It's just exaggerated.
with all the deadly artifacts in the star wars universe why does no one that gets them with the intent of them never being used just not launch them into a star or a black hole to deal with them other than entomb them.

Omg: I'm in love with this beautiful game, it's a masterpiece! lol
Enjoying this series so much. You absolutely *have to* make a Kotor II:TSL series whenever you finish this one.
"A piece of jewelry hasn't caused this much trouble since the one ring"
heh, good one.

you aint the sharpest tool in the shed are you?
Jacob Benton yes it is
Where is your source that says they've confirmed this?
Grand Admiral Thrawn My bad, it was not confirmed, but it was teased by Dave Fillioni and Pablo Hidalgo at Celebration. They showed concept art of Rex in that costume.
Rex wouldn't know any Imperial codes. He was never with the Empire. Besides those codes change constantly.
I like the One Ring reference
"Holy cow. A piece of jewellery hasn't caused this much trouble since the One Ring, am I right?" Yeah man tell me about it
Hot damn I loved the KOTOR Comics. And that "vector" storyline that crossed the different eras was pretty great too.
Woot! Rakghouls! I really loved Morn's story arc, just a shame it had to end the way it did.
RIP Celeste Mourn
*~Died willingly via her dear friends lightsabre blade for the good of the galaxy*
Imagine that on a tombstone!
Yeah, even if you did try to heal that one soldier, you still wouldn't get the chance since he would still turn. However, you do get the chance to heal quarantined Undercity people in a side quest.

Celeste Mourn couldn't destroy the talisman because she didn't know how to use the shatterpoint ability.
This. Also she created Rakghouls to protect herself and the talisman from getting into the wrong hands.
Pokenerd 7X well maybe she should have brought it to Windu who was a master at shatterpoint
@@griffingower1883 Celeste was alive 4000 years before Windu and Darth Vader opened the oubliete around a year after Windu's death.
never saw the consept of a lore play, and i like it. i do wish they were longer actually, but they are still a good way to look through the lore.
now to binge, thanks!
I can believe I forgot about how far the plaque stretched story wise. I still think the talismans story arc is one of my favorite things in Star Wars.
I thought it was Sorzus Syn who created the Muur Talisman. Muur requested that she made it for him.
2:42, actually, interestingly you can use the cure several times and still complete the Dr. Sidequest. 2:36 you can still give it to him and keep it to give to the doctor. Same with the infected locked in the camp.
Cool! How is Star Wars celebration? In the Jedi council room, do the Jedi arrange meetings? If so, what do Jedi of world do? Do thy just sit down in the middle of s battle and get out a hologram?

Yay! Back on Taris!
You know more about the history of rakghoul disease than I know the history of my own family
I love this format and this game
The images of rakghouls, Karness Muur, and the Sith Alchemy abominations - what comic book series are they from?
Oh the Vector storyline! It made connections between some of my favourite Star Wars comics.
I once tried to make a second murr talisman, that resulted in one less building on corasant
gosh, I had no idea there was so much story involved with that plague. thirteen years old me would be gaping his mouth open
you know what a interesting twist would be? make a star wars horror game featuring the death troopers (the undead kind) or the plauge
If you save the rebel he dies anyway.........but you can use it multiple times
You know you could've given the Republic soldier the serum and still have the item to hand in to the doctor.
Rakghouls need to be canon, they aren’t as of my comment, hopefully they show up in some canon Star Wars story
There were also nekghouls they were more evolved and intelligent than rakghouls that had lived in the ruins of taris after driving the outcasts to extinction by the time of the cold war.
Also don't stop doing good things because bad people want to ruin your previous good deeds.

Dad gum you fancy magic space jewelry!
2:48 LOL I died laughing.
1:08 is that Celeste Mourne?
HAHA you can still help the doomed Republic Soldier AND get the serum back to Javyar the Hutt... I mean Zelka... you know I meant Zelka right?
Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic is one of my favorite games, I admit the graphics are not the best, but the gameplay is great.
ITS TIME FOR THE JEDI TO END

Cool story bro.
lol I'm playing this game right now. I'm playing pazaak in the lower city
You can give the serum to the Republic Soldier and the infected outcasts and still give it to either the doc or the hutt who gives you money
You know that vial is useable many times and you can use it on that Solider and still give it to the guy for mass production
Are you going to react to The Last Jedi trailer??
Ggamer216 he ain't here to talk about other genres like that
heyyyyyyyy "the last jedi" teaser has been released just 40 min ago, i hope you do a video about It!
You should play Republic Commando afterwards!
2:40 Did Alex realize you can give the serum to multiple people
The Rakghouls used to scare the hell out of me.
Hey what do you guys think about news that bioware is potentially making a reboot of the kotor, not a remaster?
which KOTOR is this 1 or 2?
1
6Axter6 It is the first one.
thanks
6Axter6 very welcome. lol
Quoting Spock in a Star Wars video?!
#GetTriggered
Dude I thought the rakghouls ended up sentient?
Is the game footage in the correct ratio? I think the "main guy" looks a little squezed.
Hi. The rakghoul serum was made by the republic. When the sith took over they just stole it and used it for themselves. It is said so by the DR
dude you can give the serum to all posible npcs and it will not run out.
This needs to be made into a film. No? Just The Walking Dead? Ok
What happened to jedi and sith's lightsabers after they died?
What do you think are the chances of Dash Rendar appearing in the Han Solo movie?
Please please make this canon Disney!!!
dont the Rakghoul also appear in the Darth Maul book?

Captainwilhelm96 okay thanks
do a video on what if krenic and his death troopers found jyn
why didn't the Jedi just destroy the zombie amulet in the first place?
Cade Skywalker was only able to destroy it because he used the Shatterpoint force technique.
Celeste Morne's mission was also to capture the Talisman because of Hazen and his plan to use Sith Artifacts and the Jedi Covenant to overthrow the Jedi Order.
I wonder if the mutants on Anoat in Star Wars Uprising were inspired by the Rakghoul Plague...
Dash rendar in season 4?
Is it curable?
who's ready for the trailer today?
I remember a clone who joined the rebellion became infected
U know when u get the serum u can use it as many times as u want. Unless my game was glitch because after I got it i used it to cure everyone and stillngave it to the doctor.
Legends, the only Canon that matters.
You should have mentioned about how the rakhgoul vaccine was created by republic during the cold war in SWTOR :/
It was based on recovered samples of the sith serum.
the next game you shud do next is Kotor 2
i remember getting mauled by Rakghoul thousands of times, and my medpac is running out.... then i decide to cheat :v
What’s the price for giving it to the crime lord

Rakghouls the worst thing for a Star Wars Edge of the Empire party. :-O
U cure this in SWTOR
This should probably be left out of the new canon
Hope diamond 💎...the end
That like to dislike ratio tho
I hate those rakghoul. they're the worse enemies in the game except insane selkath.
