I had my hopes high with those ties, too bad they don't work. (Thinking about it actually it is not difficult too see how a cheap piece of plastic did not stand a chance against the torque of a 1000 cc bike 😂) thanks for trying those out anyway!
I almost bought those once when I was on a vacation and the rental car wouldn't make it out of the driveway and we couldn't use it for a few days. Not sure I'd even bother with them on a car after watching this lol.
There's a RUclips vid out there with a guy using rope exactly where u had the cable ties. I've used tire studs for years. They work great! Cost about 100.00. Takes about 30 minutes to put them in. They last about two winters.
I like the idea of tire studs, but the problem with that is, where I live there’s not consistent snow so most of the time I would be riding on wet pavement with them
Yes I have a separate set of tires (TKC80's) studded. You can go ANYWHERE with studs. I can't wait to see the rope idea. I've always wanted to try rope, but worried about getting caught in chain. Hurry and get the video up!
There's Turkish Company named Anlas that makes a Winter tire but I would classify this more as a "ride safer, longer but Not on ice or snow" kind of thing - I compiled 3 videos on this tire here for anyone interested > sheridan.coffeecup.com/?post=big-adv-motorcycle-insanity-adventure-riding-in-winter-i-just-had-to-post-this-for-my-adv-riding-bud
Thanks for properly testing them out. I enjoyed the review and info.

TRX250r08 No, I can’t see how they would possibly work on a car. Was pretty fun shooting this one. You might be surprised with what I found does work
Thanks man, it really was useful. Good luck with your experiments!
Alexander Liashchyk next video coming out in just a few minutes!
Nice vedio man , I really enjoyed
Do there work in mud or do they break . not beating I’m just cruising to get through the muddy roads. on motorcycle.
Who made the hand wind rain protectors???

OK so I’ll let you in on a little secret. The video I’m editing right now is with rope! Works awesome!
very fun to watch :))
With Nobby tires, chains would not be of any real value. The tires will bite in anyways. Studded tires would be most beneficial.
And with studs you can ride on solid ice!!

Was actually thinking though next winter I would get a set and put them on my spare wheels so I can switch them in and out

Sid Shelton Uploading right now. Maybe if you get a chance shoot me an email with some more details about the studs. Ridewithbam@gmail.com
Will do. I've got some pictures of tires alone and tires on bike in the snow and ice somewhere. I'll try to locate and get them to u.
👍
Does any other product exist to motorbike on snow?
Nicolas Abdelnour not that I could find. I did find one thing that works. Stay tuned
you can stud your tires.....
