if you are using particles and want to create magic the VDB from particles node is a good option to convert it to a fog volume and you get that nice wispy look

I just stumbled upon your videos when scrolling on RUclips and I just love the pacing! I don't know if a beginner could follow well enough, but being an advanced user, refreshing some POP basics and / or learning a few new things, this is just perfect. Not even one second was boring or slow, just perfect man!

Hey, enjoying all of your videos. I'm currently in the industry as well but moving towards the vfx artist side of things. Just started out for a month or two. Any tips on what has helped you learn the fastest?

What kind of laptop can I use to download the software?
I have music producing software as well, but I can’t do anything with it since my laptop can’t support downloads.

at 2:53 for m,e it looks like i have displaced a green a red and a blue sphere, unlike yours, i will trust the process but i think that sth s wrong, btw, thios is my first project in houdini and i don t know the interface :)
Edit: solved by pressing D, guides, unchecking the origin and particle gnomon

Is Houdini the industry standard in 3D Programms? When you work for companies like Marvel for example.

I was following along with this video and things were looking good, but when I switched to disk the particles became a massive blob and didn't ever change back to looking properly like magic. I’m fairly new to Houdini and am using version 19.0.531, so it’s entirely possible that I missed something or maybe it’s the software. With that said, is there a way of fixing this error?
