I was at my Dungeons and Dragons game early with a couple of the other players, and had a deck of cards with me, and got to be the dealer for them while we waited for the others to show up (they bet Swedish Fish, no actual money involved!) Thanks for helping me entertain some folks 😊❤
Your tutorials are really good. I knew a tiny bit about poker (never could remember the order of hands), but nothing about 3 card poker. Relaxing and informative, a perfect combo. 🙂🃏
Genuine question because I've seen both: is the dealer supposed to deal the player's hand all at once or alternate one card between the player and themselves? I noticed you dealt all three at once and it left me curious!
Serious question… if I’ve already placed my Ante then why would I fold a hand without anyone raising? If I have a 10 high and the dealer doesn’t then I still win, right?
Maybe I've found a game I'd actually be able to play if I ever went to Vegas. An extra $40 (since you accidentally took $10 from player 2) would be nice if all you started with was $100.
I currently work at a casino. I deal mostly black jack but I deal 3 card poker a lot too. This game is played for the fun of it. You rarely see someone go home with money. I've had someone win a 600k jackpot and they kept playing cause he wasn't there to win, he was there to have fun

You don't play Texas Hold-em against the dealer, you play it against the other players. It isn't gonna be that much fun.

The game is usually played with an auto shuffler which deals the cards 3 at a time.

Wondering as well, as if you already lose all your money I see no reason to ever fold
If you play the hand you risk losing 20 Dollars (10 Dollars Ante + 10 Dollars player bet). If you fold you will only lose 10 Dollars.
