- Bryce James rematch with Harvard Westlake was one of the best games of the year! Sierra Canyon and Harvard Westlake is the biggest rival in the Valley and this one lived up to the rematch hype! Jayden Alexander was back for Sierra Canyon and made quite the impression in this one.

Idk why but Bryce seems more comfortable playing varsity than JV 😂 like bro was hooping on varsity a few days ago against better competition.
It’s because he probably is. I remember in high school when I was a freshman splitting time with JV and Varsity and Varsity was more comfortable because the player on your team are more developed. The game flows smoother. I mean just watching this highlight reel shows there’s a lack of flow. It’s a lot of fouls and not a lot of discipline yet. 🤷🏼♂️ just the way is it usually I’ve found.
He’s not required to be “the man” on varsity… Very little pressure or expectations because he’s the 10th man on varsity.
On JV, teams pay more attention to him and defend harder. On Varsity, he's just another guy. The pressure is different but needed to get him better. Next year he will be in the varsity rotation.
How do u figure that he doesn't even get in the game on varsity
He was playing the bench mob ofc he was hooping SC was up 50
#5 and #14… I love their game. Them two on the floor with Bryce is special. Was even more crazy, they’ll all get even better than what we seeing right now. Only thing I see, Bryce has to develop that dawg mentality that his brother has on the offensive end. And lock in with more effort on the defensive end.
In the last game, they played hard in the last 2 mins...this game, they played hard 2 quarters, decent in the 3rd quarter, and lost themselves in the last quarter.
Bryce played like he wasn't feeling it.
If Bryce develops Bronny’s motor and Bball IQ, he’ll be vastly improved. At this point, I believe he just needs to put in his basketball minutes. His fast twitch and ball handling should progress significantly over the summer, so I’m not too worried about those. And he’s already a great shooter!
He needs to take a break from those tiktok dances for a bit and focus on ball

he might be a special player or whatever down thee line but he isn’t now if he was he wouldn’t be playing JV as a 10th grader
I wish he would start or whatnot next year the problem is SC recruit nationally so it might be complicated for him anyways we shall see like I like to say even if basketball doesn’t work out he’ll continue to live a great life !
The refs kept acting dictating the game can mess up Bryce a lil but he didn’t travel, folks will do anything for clout though.

The big man on Westlake, they couldn't do anything with him. Westlake had all the size. Siera had the best athletes, and the best all around player. Some good future guards on both teams.
