He's still my fav player I'm really sorry for his injuries and sometimes think that if he didn't get injured but I just appreciate the fact that he plays basketball now. They were the only ones who were competitive in the Eastern Conference with the Cavs, pushing them to 6 games and nearly taking a 3-1 lead. If rose was healthier and Butler was who he was now, that Bulls team would have been so so good. Bulls were really unlucky from 2010-15.
Drose shutting down Kyrie Irving for an entire playoff series is criminally underrated this one of many reasons why people believe if this man wasn't injury prone he would have been a champion and probably the best pg of this era dude wasn't only unstoppable on offense he could also shut down the other legendary point guards special player💯🌹

Man, I really miss Derrick and his Chicago Bulls days, all the great and bad. It was Derrick's MVP season why I became an NBA fan. Since then I had ups and downs either when he played great basketball or go down with an injury. His perseverance is what I always like about him. He can get injured 10 more times, he's never gonna stop because he loves to hoop. I believe Derrick will be a Hall of Famer because of his perseverance, now add his 2008 ROY, 1x First Team All-NBA, 3x All-Star, 2x FIBA World Champ and he's the youngest to be voted as NBA MVP. There is also a rule named after him, the "Derrick Rose Rule", which gives an NBA player bonuses when they either became a 2x All-Star, DPOY or MVP in their first three years in the league, which gives players motivations to become great. We will always miss this athletic version of him, but I'm happy where he's at in his life. I'm always be grateful because he's the reason why I fell in love with basketball.
it's crazy to think that when Chicago were title contenders, they only lost to LeBron superteams... If LeBron didn't stack his teams then who knows how history would've played out

This was a fun team to follow nd I enjoyed their playoff run. I really do shake my head in disgust when I think about the refs missing Blatt callin that timeout when they had none. Lue really saved them Cavs from the Bulls that season. I wished the Bulls were able to replicate much of their success that 14-15 season the year after because they were able to keep the majority core but alas.
