I always wondered 2 things about this show: how did they keep coming up with so many novel ideas week after week, and where did they find the never-ending supply of old cars?..
Hahaha, I feel like Bonnie was as close to jumping the shark as this show ever came. She’s hilarious but it’s a true testament to this show that it could support TWO characters as over the top as her and Harold.
Not really. Judging by the approximate size of the pinchers they were non lethal scorpions as lethal ones have small wimpy pinchers since they dont need them to defend themselves as much
@@harleypayne7154 That makes sense. But I meant that it was surprising to see real scorpions because usually they don't show any actual animals in that segment. It's usually just a box that the animal guy is afraid to open, or an empty cage that they realize the animal had escaped from. I figured that was going to be the case this time too, but then real scorpions appeared!
A couple seasons ago there was a joke at the end of the lodge meeting saying that if your girlfriend looks like you there's a good chance you're giving the same gift to the same guy on Father's day
Harold meets a girl on the internet and on handyman corner Red Green makes a wheel of fortune style chore chart and Ed Frid Brings in scorpions and Walter takes a picture of the men while Red makes a double chore Washing his car and the dishes at the same time and Mike tries to guess the word bar and Ranger Gord makes a video of being chased by wolves
This was done in 2003. In the movie, which came out the year before, Harold must have had his drivers' license because Red asked him to drive the Possum Van while Red tried to get rid of the enemies behind them. Perhaps Harold's license expired and he just didn't renew it.
Is that true? I didn't really watch the episodes in order when they aired but I do remember there being entire seasons about Ranger gord after he left the watch tower as well.
Ah, interesting. I've been meaning to catch up on these for a while. I loved this show when I was 10 or so, back when NJN played it but after a while they just stopped. I never would have thought this show was on elsewhere until 2005 :o
I sure hope somebody did a family tree check on Harold and Bonnie - while they seem to have a lot of great similarities, they might be a bit *too* similar.
My Dad said he was in the bath tub for 6 hours before his first date after my Mom died. I believe him: he did not shave or shower and wore disgusting old clothes for about two years. Even then it was funny to see him like that but he would still take out his son / my brother Corvette out
The one with the blonde claiming to be Bernice was when an American network supposedly bought the show, but they cancelled the deal when they decided to actually watch an episode.
Actually, it isn't. I think the first time a woman appeared on the show was an earlier episode called "The Network Deal." I want to say it was season 6 or 7, but I'm not actually sure.
You have to wonder about the minds of the people who write this stuff. Yeah, I know, Red is the chief writer. See what I mean? Courtesy of Half Vast Flying
This is one of the cutest things I've ever seen. They cast Bonnie just perfectly.
Have you seen her today?
@@StormCrownSr I just Googled a pic of her, she looks great.
She does an awesome female version of Harold - Very well done :)
I always wondered 2 things about this show: how did they keep coming up with so many novel ideas week after week, and where did they find the never-ending supply of old cars?..
I believe they have over 300 episodes. And all episodes creatively different
Red green is why there is no more K cars left lol
great show....so cute in seeing Harold and bonnie working it out
“All over us like cougars at closing time” . I love Ranger Gord, & everything Red Green.
I will use this line for the rest of my life. 😂
I felt sorry for Bonnie's aunt. She looked so disappointed in her final shot. Apparently Harold wasn't the only one looking for love.
Yeah I laughed a bit too hard at that part... I did feel bad for Bonnie's aunt though; especially when she thought Red was Herold.
Guys, if Harold can get a girl, there’s hope for all of us.
Hahaha, I feel like Bonnie was as close to jumping the shark as this show ever came. She’s hilarious but it’s a true testament to this show that it could support TWO characters as over the top as her and Harold.
And Red's comment at the end was prophetic, their getting married and having children WAS "the end of the world as he knew it..."
@@ernestbrown9660 Whoa… 😳
Was anyone else surprised that they actually had real scorpions on the show?
No

Emperor scorpions, non lethal and fairly docile.
Katelyn I think we are more RG fans. Cause you are right. Very rare to have anything live!
13:08 I appreciate that you can still see Winston's Waiters under that costume.
If Bernice if surfing the net on dating sites then its Red that should worried.
Yes, he said that.
Red Green doesn’t run from trouble...he walks.
Anyone else wanted to see Red try to wax a car with scuba flippers and ketchup packets?
Yes 😂
Yep.
Thank you for contributing to Things We Can Never Unsee! =)
I love Bonnie and Harold.
This is my favorite episode of Red Green, because this is where they introduction of the female character, who ended up with Harrold.
Laurie Elliott auditioned for the show at the suggestion of Rob Sheridan, one of the contributing writers, IIRC.
C.J. O'Dell senior writers, and likely had her envisioned for the character all along
Big big week up at the lodge, Harold found true love.
Loved the date angle.
Great episode. Good for Harold, really met his match. Are we sure they're not related, though? 😂
A couple seasons ago there was a joke at the end of the lodge meeting saying that if your girlfriend looks like you there's a good chance you're giving the same gift to the same guy on Father's day
As long as they aren't closer than second cousins, they should be okay.

We need a new version. Duck taping electric car to a gas up side down with a sokar panel and a wind mill. 😂
This was the last episode where Ranger Gord made an appearance.
Probably for the best
maybe Gord finally got admitted to the mental hospital after this season
Interesting to know. What season is this do you know? I like the ranger he's crazy
Guess he found his fire ...
Is that true? I didn't really watch the episodes in order when they aired but I do remember there being entire seasons about Ranger gord after he left the watch tower as well.

3:22 "What'll you and I do?" She asks, quite naively.

Sounds like he was a good guy
15:02 Oh, Lord! It's Ranger Gord!
That's creepy... I wonder if there is someone that resembles me out there... GOD I hope not...
now neither of us will be virgins
Jason Williams there's no North of forty and Harold's Girlfriend Bonnie is short for Bonneville
This show is not the same without Harold. 😁😁😁😂
Home Improvement meets hee-haw!
Thanks Red!
Anyone else turn the volume down on the word game when they say the word, not look and try to guess what it is?
nice!
Laurie Elliott has been credited as Lori Elliott on this show in the 2004 season.
Liked, shared and commented 🥃🍻📺
The one with the blonde claiming to be Bernice was when an American network supposedly bought the show, but they cancelled the deal when they decided to actually watch an episode.
The bigger the scorpion the less poisonus the bite
You mean sting, but I get what you're saying. The bigger they are, the less potent the venom

This is the funniest episode I have seen yet I can't stop laughing. if you're still doing tours I would love to see you if ever come to Wichita Kansas
friggen hamsters are deadly to Ed.
Laurie Elliott is awesome.
Didn't Harold get his driver's license a few seasons back?
You need a different licence to drive larger vehicles
The show had a fairly loose continuity
I thought suspenders negate the user of a belt.
My son bike like that ...good about shoppers to his plot
intro of harold's wife.bonnie.
love the episode when they get married ,,,she says ,she wants lots of babies.

The Network Deal is the first time a woman appears in the show.
And another one down.
search for the episode "the Network Deal"
Being kinda insane anyway is a great start...!
Good one Red

She even talks like Harold!
Harold and Bonnie seem related
Uh oh
Doesn't Harold and Bonnie make a cute couple?
weirdalfan1980 Well they get married in episode 300 season 15, so ya I guess. Who played Bonnie anyway?
weirdalfan1980 Laurie Elliott
And they lived Nerdly ever after.
They MUST have been running out of ideas if they have freaking SCORPIONS on the show!
Ranger Gord reminds me of Justin Trudeau.
Something tells me that Harold and Bonnie are getting married.
Anybody who watched the last episode will know what I'm talking about.
Harold kinda sounds like Ron White's seatmate on the plane from Flagstaff to Phoenix, AZ, the one that lost an engine.
isn't love grand
lol bill!
awwww... Harold has a girlfriend.. :)
Funny Funny
18:56 haha
Legitimate scorpions... jeeeeesus.

Aaron discussing Kirk or Picard
Never thought Ranger Gord was funny, in any aspect.
And now, one year later....maybe a bit....but just a bit.
Harold posts his uncle's picture instead of his own? And yet you're always bashing the others for being dishonest you hypocrite!
I dont like the word game or Ranger Doug
