A very good and honest review i think more people buying any Silvia should watch, and finally somebody who understands the car! This car in stock config is still fun and track worthy. SO many in general tend to upgrade stuff just because thats what other people do without most ever really being able to take the full potential of the car anywhere anyway, or know the car well enought to know why the upgrade needs to happen. Also, i love that lightning yellow! Mine is in pearl white and it also looks amazing, but im even thinking about foilage (or what ever its called in english) my car to lightning yellow with a bonus of nice protection. Only thing im really going to change to my stock Silvia is the rims and exaust and some tiny more boost. Better break pads because the original breaks discs and calipers are good enough for track use, the problem is the pads and then some metal wiring for break fluids and im in heaven .... well, maybe skip the tape deck it comes with and get a dubble din stereo, because thats what been installed preveusly in Japan, and ones you go double din you never go back =) All in all, good job on the review and i hope people watching this really understands that part about the power curve of these cars, its so easy to go offroad. I owne 2 Silvias currently and have had more these past 8 years and there all been called 200sx, so i have to agree with a previous poster here, that i prefer, and with the S15 FINALLY got my Silvia badge on the back. After 8 years, i still cant imaginme a life without my Silvia cars, there jsut to fun and to gorgues loooking.
Great video! For Australia and New Zealand, did the 200SX S15 come with the non-turbo engine as well? (SR20DE). Also, for what model years was the S15 200SX available in Australia and New Zealand?
The 200sx (Australian delivered) is exceptionally high primarily due to being P-Plate legal. The demand is greatly increased and thus increases the price. It's also a terrific car so it's going to cost a lot regardless. Rear-wheel drive is definitely a strong reason too.
Both Australian and JDM models are right hand drive only. I'm assuming you're from America? Once they are legal there, you could potentially convert it to Left hand drive but it would cost you quite a bit of money.
Nice! I live in the US so I don't get the privilege of even getting a detuned one (legally) but I'll probably be getting either a used Scion FR-S or a v8 Dodge Challenger in the upcoming months. Don't sell this one, it's a JDM legend.
This was a really good video, hard to find good videos on stock-ish S15's

I believe they did. We also got the convertible (Varietta) S15 which had a SR20DE in auto only. Also thanks lol
Yes they do, I'm looking for buy one in the next 1 or 2 years that is an "S15 Spec S Aero SR20DE" 4 speeds and manual as well
Nice man, im getting a s15 hopefully this weekend, just sold my r33 gtst and keen to try out a sr engine :p
I get 540km off a tank with city/highway and I have a heavy right foot. Such good cars
What bov do you have? This guy mentioned a boost t-line
I dig it. S15 is amazing!
Thanks for your comment Marcus :)
Zac full disclosure I have a S15 :)
They're mad cars
Rear bumper looks weird. That red rectangle is reflector or rear fog lights?
Also spec s vs spec r difference was merely spoilers and sunroof for ADM.
Marcus Ford 5 speed and 6 speed
adm spec r has 200hp and jdm ones have 250hp. but they are both great have fun with
Loved this video. I hope to get one some day!
Mad vid bro sick as
Julian Buffin Thanks man :D
I would wanna get one in NSW, but the price is high because its rear wheel drive aye?

Raise Ya Gongers!
I will, thank you
So can I have the steering wheel on the left or not???

SR20DET with only 200hp? They detuned the crap out of it.
smithsfan425 They really did. I ended up getting this one tuned to over 250 whp with some supporting mods down the line anyway

smithsfan425 well you could get the DE version if you want... Producing a whooping 165hp
Nice vid mate, whoever owns that car needs to put rims and coils asap. Looks atrocious stock.
Thanks for the comment, mods are on the way, i'll be sure to update when they're done!
Stock one better resale , maybe he wants to keep it future collector condition
mate what you on about, coils and wheels can easily be returned to stock..
My bro has the same Silvia
In the gong
The JDM is more like a modern car, look at that shitty aircon.
air con is same in jdm and adm xD
