I love it when a show makes a reference but doesn't insult the fans, I think it's nice when they basically say "hey isn't this neat" or "this exists" or just a character appreciating how lighthearted the show is. Especially when they reference it with one of the voice actresses from the show. It makes it all the better for me.

It fills my heart with pure joy that so many movies/Tv shows put a MLP:FIM tribute in them. It is by far my favourite show, for comfort and for entertainment. In Stranger Things, I loved it when Dustin called Erica out, calling her a nerd too and not letting her make him feel bad about liking My Little Pony either.
