don’t let this distract you from the fact that Hector is going to be running 3 Honda Civics with spoon engines. And on top of that, he just went into Harry's, and he ordered 3 T66 turbos, with NOS. And a Motec exhaust."
M2 Competition 62-65k M2 40-60k M235i 20-30k. I have owned the Comp and now an X drive m235. You can not beat the M235 for the price. Mine was 23k with 73,000 miles. Mint condition. Had BM3 and bolt ons. The auto is mint!
Loved the video!! I looked these things up back when I ordered my ‘17 M2, however I’ve forgotten about a lot of the little tweaks. It’s always fun to learn about your car and favorite brand, thanks man!
Thinking about picking up a m235xi thats for sale near me for $21,000 with 63k on it. Been watching alot of your videos and they've been very informative. Thanks!
Did you provide comparison statistics for the two, e.g. 0-60 and 0-100 mph as well as quarter mile results as a minimum. Those should have been placed on the screen.
Simply Car Things Thanks! Congrats on your M4, i’m sure you are enjoying it! My car is on Dinan springs, I went with them because the reviews were all really good. They are very comfortable on smooth roads but on bumpy, curvy highways it feels a little “darty”, bouncy, and unstable. With this amount of power, it’s like the chassis cannot keep up with the speed. So i’ve been considering coilovers, just wondering what your experience was with your m235i.
Omar, your content is amazing and persuaded me into buying a 2015 335i xdrive. I want to go full bolt on and tune. Please advise me what setup is best what tune you recommend and if you think this setup is reliable to use from 40-100k miles?? Thanks so much you always have super great info..
I love the styling of the M2 but price wise and. Practicality i think the m235i is better value for money especially in the UK when you consider road tax etc. I'm hoping to get an m235i stage 2 stage 1 or2 tune and decat fabspeed exhaust system that will be plenty for me to enjoy myself also springs. Then go for styling. Shane some of the nicer widebody kits I find are 2/3 the price of the car
I still love my m240i convertible, going on three years, no issues, added a remus exhaust, havent tuned because im still under warranty, was thinking of trading for new z4, everyone tells me im making a mistake, what do you think?
I didnt think much of the new Z4 until I saw a red one driving in person the other day. it looked great, awesome car at least from a visual standpoint! probly a much better chassis than the m240i too
What about ride quality? I'm between them becasue I want to do some long trips too, right now I have a Fiesta ST-3 MK8 and it isdefinitely a bit stiff... is there a huge difference between them on ride quality?
i got my M235i in Ohio, certified at Kelly with x-drive. low miles, auto 8, but I love the crap out of it. blizzxaks, just in case, goes wild here. Former WRX and GTi owner. Watched yootube after, loving it
So if i get a m235i chip it and get a k&w Suspension i have allmost the same car but for less money. I am not going to track the car a lot just want a fun car for the Odenwald
Love how you weren’t biased to the m235i because you own one! Great video!!
i try not to be! thanks brotha

20 years later. We still waiting on that Motec exhaust 😂
Don't do it. I bet you he's got more than $100 grand under the hood of that car.

Truly appreciate your unbiased videos and informative content.

thanks for the support man! good luck with your new car purchase!
Get it crazy price
should I sell my cayman 2.9 and buy M2 N55?
Only problem is the M2 is like 2x the cost for like a 10% “performance” boost. I think the M235i is worth it, at least where I’m from.
m235i is way more than plenty if you dont go to the track. M2 is for bragging rights and going to the track.
Major difference is 14-16k more for the M2.
Did you provide comparison statistics for the two, e.g. 0-60 and 0-100 mph as well as quarter mile results as a minimum. Those should have been placed on the screen.
You always kill it with your video information 👌
thanks so much bro!
when you picking up the new whip?
Jay soon🤫
hopefully soon :D
I have a m240 but I miss the sounds my m235 made
Amazing video! Keep these videos up. Its great info!
thank you brotha!
Got my m240i a few months ago, great car for around 30k. I do wish it had an LSD after going stg 2..
Colby Carithers congrats man! yea the M240i is a particularly sweet car and a great daily driver

Bought an m235i 2 hours ago lol it’s a monster
congrats on the new car man!
Simply Car Things cheers mate!
Going to buy a blue m235i soon, anyone tried driving it daily in winter, im a bit concerned about that.
Did you end driving it in winter?
Love the content. Really want a M240i with the proper OE to take corners but not ride harsh
thanks so much man!
Nice,, currently got a e92 335is dct with custom tune, suspension and lsd. Might look for a f22 s55 as an update
ooof! that 335is sounds crazy
No mention of price? When I bought my m2335i, M2s were still 10-20k more? M4s are much cheaper than M2s....
tru but this video was designed to break down mainly the mechanical differences between both cars
Do one with m2 m235i and m240i
for sure!!

for sure bro! I think in terms of pricing, the M235i is a better value. The cost of the OG M2 can be tough to justify for many
How is the 135i dct different from the ///M Dct’s?
Mines amazing

If ride quality is the only thing keeping you from getting a m2 get a m235i
M2 is noticeably stiffer ofc because its an actual M car and doesnt use EDC, just has a passive setup with stiffer spring rates
i got my M235i in Ohio, certified at Kelly with x-drive.
low miles, auto 8, but I love the crap out of it.

Watched yootube after,
loving it
thanks for the support man! glad you're enjoying your M235i theyre great cars
F80 M3 or F82 M4? I can’t decide which to purchase
personally id go with an F82, but ive just always liked coupes over sedans
M2 more strong and more fast, and it feels so diffrent like so much more raw then m240i
Congrats on your M4! Why the 4 over the 3 or 2?
Are you able to compare a original M2 against an M2 comp
if i can get my hands on an M2 comp id be more than happy to!
next vid: m2 vs m2 comp vs m2 cs
i like that idea!
So if i get a m235i chip it and get a k&w Suspension i have allmost the same car but for less money.
I am not going to track the car a lot just want a fun car for the Odenwald
Damn bro congrats
my 235i has like 430whp and i think myself the m2 isn’t worth it
Facts
Do a m240 to m2 non comp! (-:
No fog lights from M bumper...SMFH
Excellent video Omar would really like to meet up with you stay safe Bro. 🇬🇧
thanks bro, you stay safe as well with everything going on rn!
Soo you are getting the m2?!
My 17 m2 has edc
There’s a lot to be said for buying a used car that was already setup for the track vs converting a street car.
very good point!
I like this thing a lot I just don’t like how it kind of does look like a Ford focus really cool that it’s a two series but for doors though
