I own Slavia 1.0L Style varient. It gives me 12 Kmpl in City and 19 Kmpl on highways. I think that is fantastic for a car who is built to perform 200 Kmph top speed. @@kishorrit I drovr both last year and they are both pretty much the same but Virtus felt a tad bit more dynamic and responsive (the difference being that of 19.25 and 19.35 in the 19/20 muhavra.. so it boils down to subjective attributes such as looks and in my opinion the Skoda looks better and has better road presence

I have a question, does the softer suspension has any drawbacks interms of handling & body roll. Virtus has a hard suspension and its said to have a better handling & control.
Just curious to know if even the german luxury cars are not able to save occupants when at higher speeds. In such a situation will ADAS help? Not undermining their build quality, just wanted to know if this new trend of ADAS worth it.
@@rajpawar9343 does automatic breaking and collision alert and drowsiness alert effect decrease with increase in speed? From what I understood is that if we are alerted at the right time while being in the speed limits, then maybe we have better chances of avoiding a bigger mishaps. I totally agree with you that build quality is vital in bad crashes but if these systems help us in preventing the mistake or reduce the impact maybe we all are better of. Correct me if I am wrong

My point of asking the above question in the first comment is if we have technologies that provide useful information that can help us prevent the mishaps we should encourage those technologies. At 220 km/he even a merc can not save you if godforbid you are part of mishap, but if the merc is equipped with these systems then it can help you prevent or atleast reduce the impact velocity at which the build quality can help you.

You guys have probably not gone for a insurance claim to the showroom. They apply estimation charges (Rs. 8900 + GST) which is just for the estimate that you've to pay in case your claim is rejected. Haven't heard any such charges ever. I've owned VW and Skoda for 10+ years with both cars 2lac+ kms.

They have not been able to fix in four times. Service center people themselves claim that Interior is very poor and makes noise and Skoda did downgrade and we service centers are getting troubled with customers. I wish I should have gone for another car. And before abusing to someone be at their stage.
Yes, all variants have it. It works till 30kmph. But mechanical diff lock is better any day. Electronica one uses braking function for one wheel which is losing traction similar to Thar's EDL on 4x4

I took my My Skoda Slavia 2023 1.5 DSG STYLE variant just before a week,For the same price as this lava blue costs .I badly miss the boot woofer and the 10 inch infotainment with skoda sound system.(And also i know that 10 inch one is so much buggy and the current 7 inch has been for years in all the international models)Anyways
its funny when the car came out all these reviewers were like ohh these 2.0 cars feel flimsy compared to my rapid/vento.. the heavy localization has hurt its build quality.. yada yada.. and now they will come and say I had a gut feeling it would score well.. bhai kabhi toh maan lo galti hui thi

I am planning to upgrade my ecosport with slavia. So currently, in dilemma in choosing between 1.5 tsi dsg Vs manual . Slavia owners, please suggest.

ADAS just give you assistance it won't always save. Build quality is your last survival chance.

Yeah but these systems are often inaccurate. As they aren't self driving technologies. Human attention is still necessary.
