Excellent testimonial. I also stopped using my Craftsman because it was a dust disaster. I’m about to pickup my PCS at Woodcraft and look forward to a clean shop like yours. I wish there was a less steep step up than the PCS in terms of costs, but the safety (and a lack of competitiveness in safety) was enough for me to swing the expense. It hurts and I hope others can soon move into the tech as it becomes more affordable with the patent expirations. 👍Wish you many future years of great work with your PCS. Make great stuff. God Bless
Nice video content, I have the 3HP version of the same saw, when I got mine it came with the mobile base for free as part of a promotional item. However it is not the industrial mobile base but the one that integrates into the cabinet. Having a chance to do it over I would have gotten the industrial base instead. That is the only thing I would do different. Love my sawstop and you will love yours. Side note I hade the craftsman contractor saw that I bought new in 1984 before my sawstop. It too was a dusty mess but did its job for years. I did practically give it away to a new woodworker looking for a cheap Table saw so it found a good home.
LOL - My first table saw was exactly the same one that was your first. Craftsman contractor saw. Man, that thing sucked. I am looking now to get a SawStop which lead me to your video. Really nice looking shop you have there as well!
asbrand thank you, when you get the saw stop trust me you won’t regret it. I’m planning on doing another video on what I like about it after months of use.
Thanks for the review. It looks like you have had the saw for over a year. I'm about to upgrade to a Saw Stop Professional. Are you still happy with it? Thanks in advance for your opinion.
