This way didn’t work but using the way to reset on a Passat did. Hazard lights on hold the 00 button, turn ignition to on press the time key on the left, turn ignition off. Gone. Worked on my vw caddy maxi 2014.

yes you must switch the hazard lights on first before you start this process otherwise it wont work
