I moved my wife and three kids (3, 5, and 9) to SD one week ago from Minnesota. We absolutely love it here, and my two girls love GOING TO ACTUAL SCHOOL!! Kristi Noem and her leadership brought us here! Stay #powerful Kristi!
I'm from Duluth and i'm disgusted at the actions of Governor Kim Jung Walz and his mandates. No surprise that Minnesota would have a progressive as Governor. Regardless of the outcome in the upcoming trial of the Minneapolis police officer the city will burn once again. Hope they stay the hell out of Duluth!!
Welcome to South Dakota! We moved to the Black Hills area in the western part of the state at the end of last year. Are you East River or West River?
Thank you! We are east of the Missouri but a quick few hour drive from the beautiful Badlands. Just got back from a weekend trip out that way!! I can't recommend SD enough to anyone looking for a new start away from the tyranny of their blue states.

We took our first vacation ever to South Dakota. It was a fantastic experience! Our decision to travel there was directly attributed to Governor Noem's leadership and selling her state to the rest of the nation. This country needs many more fantastic Patriots like Governor Noem to step up.

Then all you need to do is to admit that you were wrong and stop complaining. I don't know what it was, but I will speculate further that she was more in favor of small government than you were, on that issue.
Was it the federal regulations on girls sports in public schools? I think it is called section 9. I heard her arguing with Tucker Carlson about that. She was trying to protect the girls.

I liked this interview and all the details it brought out. I didn't hear about Kristi Noem until I saw a video from the recent CPAC (?) events. I had no idea there was even ONE state that wasn't locked down. I was so very impressed by the fact that she led that action.
She is an amazing governor. I live here in SD and she left the decisions of locking down to the individual person and individual businesses. Sure I had to wear a mask in businesses and even at work. But to mandate what businesses are "essential" or not essential was not her job. Because of that we have businesses that are thriving and we have record LOW unemployment. I am making more money living here when I moved here last September. Low taxes and common sense. It was the right move for me. We are blessed to have a leader, a governor, such as Kristi Noem!
