I actually did pick Medea. Just so I can finally complete my meme Support list with all Servants summoned during FSN and their Masters on the equipped CEs. All the other Medea-featured CEs don't centre on her face when you set it under a Servant portrait
I have 120 Regend too (also relatively recent, maybe a month ago or so), but I still picked OG Saber. I have a plan to use her to level the Arctic MC to level 10, and OG Saber is one of the very few buster loopers that farm without relying on the MC
There's small chance they make singularity of the future simosha where saber regend is available along with 4* welfare regend and 5* pretender regend since sasaki kojiro is tittle not a name, anyone can have sasaki kojiro name if they swordskill is infinity
Emiya technically got a buff with Anni 9 since Append 5 now allows him to access Arts UBW twice in a single fight (turns 1 and 3) using a plugsuit Koyan while still getting to benefit from double Castoria. Which, y'know, still not sure how *good* that makes him, but it's worth noting.
As an NP 5 EMIYA main; it’s fair cause (ignoring the fact he’s a 4 star) if it were permanently Arts, then “*Unlimited* Blade Works” would have a whole new meaning. But if it were Quick, then he’d generate more stars than any amount an assassin could dream of. But his weird kit is what doomed him from the start but as a day 1 unit, not much could be done 😔
You'd be better off finding a way to double NP with Tamamo for the cool down reduction while still benefiting from the arts and NP steroids instead of plugging Koyan.
@@LuniSq I'm not so sure. Koyan's battery (and the fact that she buffs Emiya on his Buster turn -- which Emiya also benefits from Castoria's attack buff on) probably make her the better pick. Turn 1: Trace On + Both Castoria S3's + 1 Castoria S1/2; refund because it's Arts UBW Turn 2: Plug out the spent Castoria for Koyan, use Koyan steroids; Buster UBW Turn 3: Castoria S1/2, Koyan Battery, Trace On, Arts UBW Plus, fewer NP animations to sit through.
Archer is one of my favorite characters in this series and I've pulled for him on every banner he's been in since I started playing (in January 2023) but my luck has been comically awful. On his first banner (Sigurd/Lan Ling/Emiya) I got Sigurd, NP4 Lan Ling, but no Emiya. On his second banner (Skadi/Martha/Emiya) I got Skadi and 2 Martha's but again no Emiya. On his third banner (the one currently running) I got 3 copies of Heracles (bringing him to NP5) but again no Emiya. I took that as the sign it was meant to be and picked him as my free servant. His craft essence is also like the best scene in this entire franchise so that helped.
The CE you get for all the picks gives 10% bond points to F/SN servants, so if you haven't hit 10 for Herc's bond CE yet then that'll help you reach it.
Look, I'm sure going NP 3 to 4 would've been the more strategic move, but Basaka was the only F/SN servant I didn't have yet, and I had to also sacrifice a chance at that beautiful Medusa cropped image, so f#$% it.

Nah, as someone who lucked into a herc a while ago, he's well worth it. Getting that craft essence means he can solo any grail front, and I throw him onto the ends of teams going into challenge quests and he consistently bails me out when things go to hell just before the grand finale.
Saber emiya Hercules. Only choices. Choose one who you don't have going down in order Or power case with saber if you wanna get her an extra copy for some farming uses. Emiya is cool but his kit is funky his np switch should have been for three turns like space Ishtar to be better use. Hercules if you want a anchor for harder content to clean up for you. Mine is np 1 and still has use
Even though I don't have an artoria yet I ended up taking my Heracles from NP1 to NP2. He's been anchoring my teams since the NA servers went live and I already have plenty of AOE options.
I've had an NP1 Saber for I'd say roughly a year now. It was really lucky, since I had just downloaded FGO a couple weeks back, and had basically just stepped out of Fuyuki when I got the notification that I now qualified for a special summoning ticket, I instantly used it on Saber. I got EMIYA somewhere down the line thanks to another special ticket for a 4 star, and I got all the other Stay/Night servants besides Heracles all to NP5. Now, thanks to this ticket, the banner, and roughly 300 free SQ and 580 SQ fragments I've saved up since that one Gilgamesh banner recently, I've got Saber at NP4, EMIYA at NP4, and Herc at NP3. God is good.
Honestly there just isn't any way to make this a complicated topic. Was sitting at NP4 Blue Umu and of course had to get that fifth copy! Now she's in great shape for the future. No complaints here.

Went for Herc, because my stupid ass unthinkingly unlocked Append 2 instead of Append 1 and I needed the coins. NP2 Saber does everything I need of her anyway.
Im sorry Fino but Lancer's CE is the only CE with him with that stretched face that shows whenever he use his NP so it's the rarer one out of the other Also one of the coolest CG in VN with that roaring voice effect, only rivaled by Archer's Hrunting in Hollow Ataraxia
I picked NP2 Seiba because I'm bound to get more use out of her than a new Herc. I get it's cast-based, but the fact most of the other choices are mechanically just CEs indicate the severe gap in the amount of attention Lazagna pays these characters.
I went against my original plan and grabbed Saber because of NP8. Boy do I have egg on my face now, but at least I won't have to bond her to 15 anymore.
I ended up picking Archer, because he was only a few coins away from 120. Already got my Saber there, so once I finish grinding EXP I can finally have him join her.
I chose Rider cause i wanted that CE and needed the coins to unlock 1 more append. Rolled on the F/SN banner to hopfully get the remaining coins for her last append but ended up with a copy of Saber and not a single Medusa. Damn greed sensor is real😂
Saber has spooked me 3 times, so I went for NP4 for whenever she wants to spook me again for NP5. The other unit that has spooked me that much is Arjuna so if we ever get a free normal 5 star again, I might get him to NP5.

So this event became less 'which servant do I pick' and more 'which is more useful: NP 2 Seibah or Rare prism(s)?
Wouldn't Berserker compete with Artoria? I have had Artoria for a long time and barely use her, but Hercules has saved my butt several times by clutching the end of the fight, a very unique role he is the best at.
It would've been funny if the CEs were inversely powerful to the servants. Like Saber gets a generic bond point CE, but Assassin gets a Poster Girl clone. Now THAT would've been a dilemma.

Should I read the main story straightforward from Singularity to LB (+Main Interlude) and then read the event story or read Read them alternately like Main story>event story after the main story>rinse and repeat?

Meanwhile, I really don't like Artoria at all, she's extremely boring and I don't want her to surpass my all time favourite servant Altera. But still, free NP2 of a really strong servant.
