This kind of depth of world interaction is where other JRPGs usually failed. The worlds were usually just static bitmaps. *This* could end up being as good as Golden Sun.
It just didn't have much emotion. I get that he's a thief that's supposed to have no emotion, but at least a more annoyed and "dead inside" direction would've worked.

I like how a lot of these Character have abilities that are a combination of two pre existing concepts. Like how H'aanat is a ranger and a beastmaster all in one ornhow Therion can steal more than just items as we've seen him steal hp much like a drain spell or vampire ability.
I hope that in this game you cant get everyone in your party so you Can only get 4 or 5 people so you dont have access to all actions and it Would make it Fun to replay the game with different parties
This game puts a smooth and modern spin on rpg's. Definitely getting this. And about time we get a game like this for the Nintendo Switch. Portable Goodness 🙌

Game hasn't come out yet and I already know that it is going to be a 9-10/10 game based on how they handled the Demo version and the fact that they are adding asked for little details from everyones feedback. Not sure how many characters we will be able to play with at Max with the combat but I am going to stick with Primroses story first than H'aanit next. I love animal tamer type characters especially ones who won't hesitate to mercilessly kill anyone who get un your way
I am not so sure... based on the demo (unless they purposely left it out) it seemed like the first character you chose was the one whose story you followed in that playthrough. The only thing talking the other people did (or seemed to do) was give you their unique action for conversation. Time will tell though since that was only the demo.

I feel like just paying to mend relations is too easy. It'll easily become unbalanced which action you should use. If the price is too high, then you always must buy, but if it's too cheap, people will just steal all the time. (Let's just ignore the obvious flaw of save scumming.)

If you pay attention to the Title Screen in the demo, the last two characters yet to be revealed are the first two characters who appear in the title screen, and coincidentally, their names are the first two letters of the word OCTOPATH. **O_____, C____, Tressa, Olberic, Primrose, Alfyn, Therion, H'aanit.** #mindblown
Something seems off about Therion's voice. I wouldn't go as far to say he's a bad actor, but the tone feels off. It's like as if everyone else is acting in a Shakespearean play and he's talking like a normal person. There's nothing intrinsically wrong with speaking like a normal person but it just doesn't fit the tone of the game when all the other characters talk like what you'd expect video game acting sounds like.
This game continually blows me away. It's still my GOTY for SURE! (Even with Smash Bros looming around the corner...) This game just KEEPS going above and BEYOND what it necessary for me to buy it!

I would agree with your assumption on Seduce. In the demo, even though you can't fail it, the Seduction skill does have a percentage attached to it.
