I'm a lucky school bus driver just assigned a NEW 2023 IC / Wolfington bus with Cummins engine. 8-way controls on the steering wheel. I love the "airline style" dash. And the full complement of analog gauges. First tiny negative comment: What's with the LOUD cooling fans when I am in engine brake mode? After a stop is completed these fans go on and on. Eventually shutting down. But what a noise through a neighborhood at 7AM in the morning!!! 2nd slight negative comment:::: What's with the lack of caster-return when making a turn? My bus is a little better than the other 4 older IC's / Wolfingtons. Me and another driver were shuttling buses for the yearly undercoating and were freeked out after making a turn and the bus continued to head for the curb. Good thing I always take turns slowly. WOW! Other than that I love my new IC bus. Much quieter inside the passenger area. The drive train could be better managed for power response when going up hills. Fully loaded we're creeping at 45 MPH. Traveling 65mph and floored well before approaching a hill on an interstate. Sometimes I just force it to a lower gear making sure that I'm not going to slam the engine against the governor, so my speed increases slightly, to let someone following know that I'm trying to get my vehicle back up to speed. Many dangerous drivers will pass on a double yellow line in a curve to get around. Not goodness!

I’m a school bus driver, been in love with busses since the 70’s when my mom, Grandfather, Aunt drove them. The company only had International busses. Can you go into more detail about when a bus or busses are ordered? From the start to the end. And what’s the difference between the Chrome Grille with the International logo or with the IC logo on them?
As a former school bus driver, it always bothered me as to why the state of Pennsylvania has not gone to wig wags-flashing headlights-in their buses to warn traffic you are going to stop. Wig wags really make a very big difference. I have worked for different school districts and private contractors like yourself who have always said tell us what we can do to further enhance your safety and the school children and this still hasn’t been done? The other issues always has been those pesky back up camera’s that have should always have been there years ago but weren’t. Install those and there is another video for you! Thanks for your time.
