You could also say that to turn the camera off/on, there is no longer a slider at the top of the screen, and that there is a physical button on the keyboard to turn it on and off.
Sent two G6's back in under 10 months. The hinges are useless, and in the UK at least their onsite engineers are useless. 7 site visits in under a year, every time they came out to fix one thing they broke something else. One engineer even tried to modify the connection on a brand new system board with a Stanley knife. After 20+ years of HP, not going back.
@@progtom7585 Hemmersbach they use in the UK. Nice enough guy's then send out, just poorly trained and with the issues I had HP should have just swapped out the whole unit on both occasions, it would have saved them a fortune.
No comment on heat dissipation? What are the temps when you full throttle the CPU? How do the fans sound? Camera quality? Specs of laptop? How does Touchpad feel? So many key points missing, how can you call it "REVIEW"?
This is some of the most important, cooling and heat dissipation. We need to inform laptop buyers more here. Camera quality and microphone as well, need to move into the HD and 4k era for laptops, mic should begin to match the microphone and sound Cherlynn is using here even if this sounds out of technology scope
@@gossipboynyc2434 I am all for more detail but let’s not get unrealistic. With the current thicknesses of laptop display lids any kind of 4K camera is completely impossible and a Full HD sensor might actually be worse than a 720p sensor with slightly larger individual pixels. Cameras don’t like thinness.
Quick question: does anybody know if it's VR compatible? More specifically im wondering if it would work with Oculus Quest 2 running Microsoft Maquette via Quest Link? Haven't found any confirms online so i was hoping someone here would know! Thanks and Happy Holidays in advance!
Great feature guys, what microphone are you using Cher, it sounds good👍 Hopefully they can get to the 18- 20 inch laptop range in a proper full package with near to zero flaws. Seems like this HP elite book has some flaws
It’s not even 11th gen. Of course a 4600H would be better. This is a pointless product. A fanless M1 MacBook Air will give you twice the performance and battery life for 500$ less.
A much better battery life would be the Snapdragon 8cX that has longer battery life on smaller battery size than MacBook Air M1. And 8cX is on 7nm fab, can you imagine if it's on 5 nm? It will have insane battery life. MacBook Air M1 battery life isn't that impressive since it's using processor meant for the Macbook Pro. Of course, nobody dares to criticize Apple. Edit: let me add one more. 8cX doesn't have high performance core ala Apple firestorm. It will arrive in the next gen 5 nm 8cX iteration. Can you imagine if the next gen 8cX has two of those high performance cores? On an integrated ram and storage module? Apple silicon will struggle to compete with 8cX platform.
What a useless review. It's an art to talk for 10 minutes but not say anything about the laptop. What about things that actually really matter, especially for business users like me? What about the camera? What about different configurations? SSD speeds? Heat dissipation? Screen brightness? Fan noise? Processor and performance? It's not a review, it's a waste of time...

Probably subcontracted out to the subcontractor of a subcontractor of a subcontractor?

Can you compare this side by side with Dell xps

this host is useless as nothing
I love how there's several Verizon logos throughout the video but you guys don't have to mark the video as sponsored. xD
Do these elite books come with bloat Ware?

Is the hp elitebook dragonfly better or this !
?
Why is no one talking about the 1040 G6

Tell HP to switch to 3:2 aspect ratio on their 2-in-1 laptops. We're not buying them otherwise, sticking to Spectre 14 model for our staff.
Thank you ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Nice hair style 💯
Very sleek and chic
As a boy I can confirm 💯 sh does not have any hairstyle right now, this is the natural look of hair....... What do I know
not exactly a compelling laptop for the price, thanks for the review tho.
great review, very detailed and you made the product standout, well done!!
Cherlynn, you look great. And thank you for responding to my questions during one of your podcasts regarding the M1 Apple Silicon Chipped MacBook
Man I wish they had 11th gen Intel i7 1180UH processor :(

beyond just mere? hello!
thank you so much
great review 😉
Very good feature 👏
AMD ryzen 4600H would have much better battery life, just saying :)

@@RidwanGosal but that's ARM so that wouldn't be so easy to pull of. That's a completely different laptop
@@roebbiej I'm just kidding, bro. So many users think Apple M1 will be the solution to everyone computing problem.
As usual - no price guide.

Awesome one of my fav Engadget hosts. Amazing
Comment getting auto-deleted... WTF endgadget?
Don't we all mute when we're not speaking?
2020 problems, too many imperfections in technology
Strictly for big businesses that can afford the steep pricing. Give me an AMD at close to half the price with better performance and battery life!
This is not a gaming laptop.
Yea it isn't a gaming laptop of course but it's used for working or some drawing but it's great for gaming since it has i7 10 gen vPRO
Nah..gonna wait and buy macbook pro next year .
Not even a fucking full review
After Apple M1 Chip release.. Intel is about to die..
nice makeup

Intel Sucks
I don't know why
But she is my crush 😍❤️
First! I love my iPad Air 4 with magic keyboard. I use it like an iPad and a computer!
