I see that most of the comments in this thread appear to be women talking about their husband or boyfriend. As a man, I can confirm that we have no idea what flirting is. I usually only figure out that a girl was flirting with me hours or even days after the flirtation, most of which I spent in confused contemplation about the interaction. One of the worst examples of this confusion happened to me during my first year of college. I was having what I thought was friendly conversations with a girl in my class for a few days, when she suddenly asked me if I was over 18. The realization that she had been flirting with me for weeks suddenly dawned on me, and I began to panick while I tried to figure out how I could get out of this situation as quickly as possible. Please go easy on us, we spend every waking moment of our lives in extreme confusion.
I'd love to see you react to Monk. It would be interesting to hear your thoughts on the portrayal of the main character's OCD and the relationship between the main character and his therapist.
He's definitely right when he says either way the relationship is doomed after this. That being said I think things have to be pretty awful if you feel the need to resort to this whole production. Either your partner is extremely paranoid and doesn't trust you or your partner will jump on a chance to cheat on you and has been lying to you about it. This clearly has been an issue for a while and talking about it hasn't helped. This wasn't going to end well regardless.
Yeah, especially in shows about middle school, the boys treat the girls like objects and the girls start bullying eachother and starts a bunch of drama.
He’s not even trash, he’s shit 😅 I usually hate these kinds of shows, because I feel the people setting up their partners are being ridiculous and not showing due trust. But with partners like these, now I wonder if they’re justified
I wonder if she just wanted proof to show oyher people. Because honestly if you're that suspicious of your partner you have no business staying in the relationship. Wheter you're right or not.
I love your internal moral conflict. So funny to watch you be delighted, then disgusted by your delight. I feel you. I always feel like a worse person after watching trash entertainment.
I sometimes watch it and then it feels like I've got butter on my hands, rancid butter that I can't quite wipe off. Metaphorically or..whatever it's called, it sortof sticks to you.
My M.O. is to go through life completely oblivious to things like that. I love talking to new people and I routinely miss flirting signals. But "Chris" is dumber than a sack of hammers.
Same here. I wouldn't know a guy was flirting with me unless he bashed me a banner with "this is me flirting with you" written on it right over the head.
A lady hit on me, gave me a hug out of nowhere, and I just held up my ring, pointed at it with my other hand, which she thought was me holding my hands up like “back off” and she asked if I was threatened by her, and I don’t remember what else she said before she walked away. So my awkward attempt to kindly let her down was taken as a slightly more aggressive gesture which put her off, and it worked like a charm.
Well, I found your reactions entertaining, and I deeply appreciate that you explicitly stated those things you did about what men can and should do. Thank you, Jonathan, and thank you for giving me something to laugh about. ("This is what happens when you think with your genitals.") As to the content itself... that just made me uncomfortable non-stop. (I had to watch the video at a higher speed to get it to end faster.) I've known too many women who fall for men like that. And I usually don't find out about it until after the fact. I'm no therapist, but people often do feel secure in opening up to me, and... well. I hear about some of these relationships. And I hear about specific incidents. I hate finding out that I have no ability to prevent what's already been done. Hmm. Given that men like this are slime, it's fitting to think of them seeping into cracks and disappearing. Let's maybe leave them there, unless we can get a good cleansing agent.
As a polyamorous person, I HATE cheaters. Like, you have options. If you don't feel like you can be faithful in a monogamous relationship, DON'T GET INTO A MONOGAMOUS RELATIONSHIP. Stay single and f*** around, be poly and have open and honest communication, but don't commit to someone and make them believe that you are theirs and only theirs just to up and break that trust. It's messed up.
true, but society established you got to have one perfect partner who is your everything, and if they are not pretend and exorcise your frustraitions elsewhere without anyones knowage
"its a pandemic relationship" says it all. so if she had the feeling, he could cheat and her friends would have met him, they would said to her he's a jerk 100% . this dude put all his issues on other people, make me a little bit pitying, just a little
I just wanted to say that he is right about if someone cheats that quickly it is in their nature. I had a buddy that fell off the planet for a bit and I got back in touch with him near the end of a relationship and when I started talking to him he said that she left another guy for him almost immediately after he met her. I was stunned that he was okay with that and I said him about it he was sure it was just because she loved him and within a year of that discussion he found out she was cheating on him and that was just a thing she does.
A healthy relationship is communication and trust. Where there is no doubts about the other or if there is u talk and reassure one another. Empathy for one another and consideration for urself and ur other half. Its i think a hard thing to find now but when you have it no matter what you end up against in life u know u have it.
Good luck getting out! Don't tell him at any point, not even when you're packing up to go. Just get your stuff and close that door on his stupid ass. These kinds of people will never see fault in themselves, and a lot of vulnerable people get back with a repeat cheater because they can turn up the fake charm to 1000% and the cheater makes their victim feel like they'll never have it better than they do being with their cheater. Best wishes, stay strong

I think people should learn in school how to react about fights. Scenes like this are just so common! A: You did this wrong! And this! And this! B: No I didn't! It's not my fault! And what about C? And you?! You did this wrong in the first place! You know what? I don't even care at all! What's the point of conversations like this? Blaming each other? Making each other feel even more bad and make each other more impulsive and blind? And then just break up and rush into the next relationship/friendship/... and have these exact fights over and over again? We have to stop following that impulsive reaction triggered by emotions like disappointment, anger and grief! We have to learn how humans psychology works and how to better communicate! And someone has to teach us! Not everyone can afford metal health precare! But everyone needs it! Everyone deserves it! Let's make it a school subject!

Sadly, these same people would scrap the relationship rather than accept the stigma of "mental illness" that therapy would attach to it. They don't see that their relationship skills are immature and weak. This is how social media, novels, movies and television have taught them normal relationships function. Thank you for bringing a more healthy perspective to social media.
i mean that's an assumption. and judging by that they are young and relationship is young, I'd say it's fine to just end relationship that gone this bad this early. also the fact that she wanted it. We do not live in that universe so what were we talking about before the topic of a date was brought up?" edit: oh, and then I'd talk to my wife about it.
I really hate guys like Chris. He is trying to be all intellectual and make some kind of justification for his behavior- "You asked ME out on a date" like that means he couldn't decline because HE is the one in a relationship. Ladies/gentlemen- RUN from fools like this. I need a shower... Ugh!!! And now he's making a power-play trying to gain control of his girlfriend by removing her from the situation in which he is at a disadvantage. Gross!!!
I don't get people who cheat, if you're not happy in a relationship say something. If you don't want to commit to a monogamic relaitonship don't. I am myself not a fan of monogamy, I think it's a relic of a time before birth control. But I don't lie to people about it. I am usually quite honest about it.
I would be entirely immune to this cheating challenge, as i am incapable of recognizing when someone hits on me. I had one girl in high school and another in university i friend zoned without ever suspecting any "relationship" attempt. When the girl from high school confessed her crush on me long after school, i felt sooo bad for her. Luckily my now-wife was super obvious.
Are you willing to react to the drama between the Spears sisters? There is just so much to unpack there and I'd love to hear your perspective on the whole thing
Yeah you can feel he values the relationship really low. It makes me sad, but maybe it's better to get to a point of truth and clarity about it sooner even if it is a trap than wait in a relationship with someone who may not be as invested in it as you.
You're right, the relationship is over either way and she knows it. But she needs to know if it's due to her suspicion and lack of trust, in which case she needs to look at herself, or if it's due to his cheating and infidelity in which case she can just celebrate being rid of him. There is a huge gulf there.
3:20 Just a small note here, although very much to-each-of-their-own kinda thing.. Honestly... Would this be me instead I... Would definitely be cranky about the test at first 100% for sure, but after a while (assuming I pass, that is lol) I can imagine... me seeing it as kind of... a funny thing / memory. I dunno, would someone set me up for this then (again, after the initial WTF factor/shock passes) I'd definitely consider 'em a keeper. At that point I'd kinda know that "Ok, I definitely won't be bored with 'em for sure and they can make me laugh." I mean, sure, I would probably never fully 100% get rid of the "is this a test?" -phase ever again after it, but on the otherhand I could see it also being a bit of a spark for me to "do better" all the time as well. Again, at lest I wouldn't be bored and all the 'hijinx's' would be a funny thing to reminiscence at some point.
Unless it's very flagrant and gross, what would be considered cheating-flirting.... and not randomly kind and chatty. I've been accused of leading on while just talking to a guy like I would any friend or aquaintance. It kinda change with the person judging it.
Well, it obviously depends on what agreement the couple has, but it doesn’t take much for a woman to be accused of “leading on” a guy, since obviously women can’t ever possibly have a male friend, you know… 🙄 There’s a double standard on these situations because while men are allowed a LOT of slack, women get blamed for men’s behaviors alongside their own.

I love that you let yourself enjoy this as much as you did, your reaction was just so much fun. I've watched a lot of you and your wife's videos, and think both of you are really nice people. These videos are great, you guys are great, and I really would love to see more of these 'raw' videos.
Jono’s laugh at 4:10 made me laugh with him! 🤣🤣 If I ever need to feel happy, I’m coming back to this.
If this happened to my husband he would be so clueless that someone was hitting on him and if he did know it he would be confused.
Like real man :)
Mine, too.
Yup. This would be my husband 😂
He couldn’t even tell if I was hitting on him, and we were on dates!
@@mbs8001 Mine refused to talk to me he would only talk to my friend . He told me he was to nervous to talk to me. You have to love good men.
"I am entertained as hell. That was delicious." Perfect statement that explains why we watch trash content like that sting and other dating shows.
Laughing while saying you shouldn't laugh it's sensitive is pretty funny.
You're the best and love both your channels
Him: well YOU initiated this
Also him: *initiates straight up physical connection*
Coming here from cinema therapy and I'm delighted to discover that Jonathan is messy as hell LMAO love it
Watching this gave me middle school flashbacks. This is literally how boys were!!! It's honestly sad but In a funny type of way.
Yeah, especially in shows about middle school, the boys treat the girls like objects and the girls start bullying eachother and starts a bunch of drama.
He’s not even trash, he’s shit 😅
I usually hate these kinds of shows, because I feel the people setting up their partners are being ridiculous and not showing due trust.
@@myskanamrazu9412 would you press charges?
@@abraxaszee8953 that was a joke lol they were just saying he would have to make it very obvious
@@brianawhittaker8152 I was making a joke also.
("This is what happens when you think with your genitals.")
As to the content itself... that just made me uncomfortable non-stop.
Chris would basically:
Give you up
Let you down
"Run" around
Desert you
As a polyamorous person, I HATE cheaters.
Ditto!
That relationship was destined to be a dumpster fire.
I love that the host just opened the door and got out of the way.
"If this would be what it means to be a man - I'm out!" LOVE that quote!
Never seen a therapist showing so much emotion in a reaction video. Cool :D
My favorite part of this was just watching you eat this up like it’s the doughnut you know you shouldn’t be eating!
My boyfriend is this dumb. Seriously.
I don’t even need a hidden camera.
The only reason I’m still here is because I’m saving up to move out of state.
Be safe ❤️
I can't wait for you to leave him! I was in that situation with my daughters father and I finally saved enough to leave and I wish I did it sooner.
@@tessabakker662 I left! I’ve been gone 3wks and it’s HARD… my plan isn’t quite working out like I’d hoped, but I’m never going back. The clarity since leaving… I feel like I literally woke up from a foggy nightmare.

Hi, I have a suggestion: therapist reacts to the couple’s dynamic of mr and mrs smith
“Fun isn’t something one considers them giving a couple therapy but this… this… this does put a smile on my face.”
Bro the amount of times I’ve been asked out and have declined because I’m a loyal partner….it’s THAT simple to say no.
4.32 - “You dumbass” I don’t think I’ve ever laughed harder 😂
I hate those kinds of videos, but real or fake, if I could just have an entire playlist of you reacting to them, I would binge them all 😂
I never heard a therapist say "dumbass" so many times.
I also never expected it to make my day when he does...xD
Went to school with Joelle, so weird to see someone you know pop up on a cover for a video, lmao!!
XDDD "I want them in my office. I would do this pro bono. This I would do for my own enjoyment." Jonathan please
I enjoy your enthusiasm watching this video. I married a cheater who had a fiance for 8 years but never married her. He left for a woman older than him. I knew as we work together as police officers. I kept us friends for 3 years, lived together for a year and after 16 years he left me for several women. I should have seen it coming.
I love the sincerity Jona.
I wonder if Jono ever watched Cheaters? that's basically what this is, so i can just imagine Jono sitting there (maybe with Alan) screaming at the TV "YOU JACKASS!" lol
Jon, c'mon man, that's horrible. I don't know how you could say stuff like that.
Nickelodeon Gak doesn't deserve that kind of treatment.
Jono is here for the drama, and I love it 🤣.
john had great and vaild points and also had great insights but what I got from this video is that JOHN LOVES THE DRAMA!!!
OMG, seeing your reaction Jono... priceless. :)))))
Thank you for making all of your videos, this is so helpful
"I want them in my office" 🤣🤣 you killed me
"Bring the castration tools" 😂💀
"To catch a predator" I'm wheezing

Therapist reacts to love after lockup. My mom likes to trash watch that. There was a guy who cheated on his pregnant wife and she confronted the mistress who was the most disrespectful I had ever heard. Both my mom and I were wtf is this?
That whole thing looks like a scripted reality show. Anyway - your reactions make it worth to watch it.
Loved this, super entertaining and still valuable content! It gets better and better :)
I am very pro- timely break up. and going to therapy individually is an option, that will help them in future relationships
Hi! 8D I discovered this channel through Cinema Therapy and I'm loving every single vid. Thank you so much for all the work you guys are sharing with us. Someone probably suggested this already but just in case, I'd love to see you tackle Arcane. Every single character and their relationships are so well-thought-out I'm sure you'd have plenty to choose from and the show itself is just a joy to watch :') Thanks again and have a great day!
"You dumb ass" i love you dude haha
"if someone flirted with me, id just be confused"
i hate that i can relate
"Wanna take me out?"
Me: Sure!
"Deadass?"
Me: Nevermind 😐
My response would have been something along the lines of, "in a different universe, where I was single, I would absolutely take you up on your offer. We do not live in that universe so what were we talking about before the topic of a date was brought up?"
edit: oh, and then I'd talk to my wife about it.
Gross!!!
This is either a setup or the biggest “Rope a Dope” for decades. Bring on the Therapy session and the Popcorn
I don't get people who cheat, if you're not happy in a relationship say something. If you don't want to commit to a monogamic relaitonship don't. I am myself not a fan of monogamy, I think it's a relic of a time before birth control. But I don't lie to people about it. I am usually quite honest about it.
Why have I only just found you 😂 this was perfectly ridiculous, well done sir 👏
"I'm down" either way it's over
I would be entirely immune to this cheating challenge, as i am incapable of recognizing when someone hits on me.
I love this guy.
I would watch every show with you and all your subscribers
10:57 thank you! And ladies, just because a man comes onto you, that doesn't mean you should go for it
Aren’t they usually better about that ?
I was hell of entertained. More of this please.
4:31 "you dumbass" lost it 😂
Yeah you can feel he values the relationship really low. It makes me sad, but maybe it's better to get to a point of truth and clarity about it sooner even if it is a trap than wait in a relationship with someone who may not be as invested in it as you.
11:00
"You can say no."
See? Follow Joseph's example! (the Joseph in Egypt. Jacob's son)
I feel like I need Lisa's passion for popcorn 🍿 cuz this was entertaining ah
If a therapist's professional opinion of you is that you are slime, you've got work ahead of you. 🤣
You're right, the relationship is over either way and she knows it. But she needs to know if it's due to her suspicion and lack of trust, in which case she needs to look at herself, or if it's due to his cheating and infidelity in which case she can just celebrate being rid of him. There is a huge gulf there.
The amount of times I told my ex "Having a penis is not an excuse for bad behaviour" and that misogynist never learnt.
At that point I'd kinda know that "Ok, I definitely won't be bored with 'em for sure and they can make me laugh."
I mean, sure, I would probably never fully 100% get rid of the "is this a test?" -phase ever again after it, but on the otherhand I could see it also being a bit of a spark for me to "do better" all the time as well.
Again, at lest I wouldn't be bored and all the 'hijinx's' would be a funny thing to reminiscence at some point.
ůYou started it." Oh, we are gaslighting now, great:-D
This is what you do when you know the relationship is dead and you just need proof for your own sanity on your way out the door.
Can we have more of this crap? I mean this is complete crap, but it is funny as hell. Especially when the main party involved is so completely stupid.
Jono has never been so relatable. 😂🤣
Ever hear a lil show we used to watch called "Cheaters" ? Same.
How dare you besmirch the integrity of gak! lol
Unless it's very flagrant and gross, what would be considered cheating-flirting.... and not randomly kind and chatty. I've been accused of leading on while just talking to a guy like I would any friend or aquaintance. It kinda change with the person judging it.
Well, it obviously depends on what agreement the couple has, but it doesn’t take much for a woman to be accused of “leading on” a guy, since obviously women can’t ever possibly have a male friend, you know… 🙄
There’s a double standard on these situations because while men are allowed a LOT of slack, women get blamed for men’s behaviors alongside their own.
@@raquelmarcalsantos
I'd like to say I posted this 'before' seeing the video and well... there is no doubt here he is.
Sadly I lost almost all my male friends because if they couldn't have me well it wasn't worth the friendship.
I was raised with peoples that never actually taught me to be so much carefull about my words, it makes me unpleasant to be told what to do or not... lead them on.
I should have said that instead, smiled less or more, what if not infantilizing. I'll act as myself, thank you.
So I'm glad when I am surrouded by peoples that are as clueless as Jono! xD
“If another women were just hitting on me I’d be confused” 😂
