    I live at the base of Mt Hood in Oregon. I've raised two son's-camping, fishing, boating and snowboarding at Meadows. We have been in the woods countless hours over the last twenty years. We never spotted ANYTHING to do with bigfoot, I laughed at it. That was until April of 2018. We were near Ripplebrook and three linx by the job corps complex. We were hanging out by the fire after target practice with my sons new rifle. To make a long story short, we were surrounded by at least two of these things. They threw branches at us, snapped a GIANT limb (I assume)-sounded like a shot gun went off. We didn't know what was happening. I was getting very scared because I couldn't figure out what was happening. Then I spotted it, we were losing light but I could make out the outline of it and could see it's eye shine as it leaned out to look at us. HOLY SHIT it was HUGE. I'm guessing around 9,10' tall--4' wide shoulders. My son and his friend also spotted it when I pointed it out. I have never been so scared in my life and I've been shot at. We researched over the next year with a few more "experiences" including audio, foot-casts. We never had another visual. I don't care if anyone believes me. I would have laughed at it if it didn't happen to me. I can assure everyone that they are real and very scary. I have no idea what they are I just know they are.

      @@Flummelum Do you think you could be able to take out your phone and take a picture of a brown bear or mountain lion running towards you? or showing clear aggresive behavior to you? Do you think you'd have the balls to do that? And to my second question, ante upped. An unknown creature thats also bigger than anything youve seen in your life is looking at you, and its face is strangely human looking. Would your first, or second or third thought be take out your phone and snap a pic? Seems like the guy tried, so I don't know why you wrote this comment, as he clearly had the cool and balls in the situation to at least try.
      Besides the fact that it isn't really comparable to an animal charging at you, I don't think everyone would be as gutless in such a situation as you imagine yourself to be.
      But yeah, to answer your question, without truly knowing, as I haven't been in the situation myself, I believe I would've tried to film it, as soon as I realized what was possibly going on.

      @@Flummelum Oh yeah he was not charged at or anything, he was simply sorrounded by unknown creatures throwing sticks at him and he had 3+ guys with him.
      The guy probably could've possibly taken a picture of it, but it is very difficult to be ready for something like that. You can spend a lifetime in the woods, having seen every known creature therein, and you would still be perplexed by an encounter like that. So yeah, its not as simple as " Well did you think of taking a picture?" and then immediately taking it. And Im 100% sure you would have a similar reaction(not the guy's,the one I described) lmfao

    When I was 16 on the opening day of deer season, I walked up on a Sasquatch. I am now 53 and this changed my life forever. It was not threatening and it even looked surprised that i had walked up on him. I was very afraid and when he turned to walk away I started running the other way. As i was running weird sounds started up all around me, at the time I had no idea what it was but i now know it was tree knocks. I didn't hunt for a year but began to go again and even wanted to encounter this creature again but in 35 years I never found so much as a track. I only told my mother, father and eventually my wife, until this year when I felt comfortable to start telling my encounter.

      I saw some of them with my parents on our sailboat up in the San Juan Islands. 7 or 8 of them. We saw two swimming up to this island and then they crawled up the beach on all fours and went up into the woods and there were a bunch more up there standing up in a circle. I've researched them and from here up to Alaska they are a specific type that are often seen in groups. They call them the otter men.

    I'll add this .. There is more than one Bigfoot in the Patterson/Gimlin film .. If you look in the tree line you'll see them . As I said in my other post , I had an encounter when I was 14 .. I'm 53 now and have spent the past 40 years looking for another one .. I certainly would not have spent so many years and money looking if I wasn't 100% absolute on what I saw .. I'm positive it wasn't anybody in a gorilla suit ..they would of had to of been at least 8ft tall and with an unimaginable girth for a human..Also it was in the water about waist deep when I first spotted it..then it walked onto the shore...it would have ruined any costume ..but the thing I've never forgotten is the sheer primal fear that came over me .. I DO Not go in the woods at all after dark and never alone or unarmed . I realize there's a lot of Bigfoot hoaxes ..however there are some reputable sightings .. The Patterson footage is one of the best piece of footage we have to this day ..
    Phillip Morris claimed to make the suit in the video..but when he was offered 1 million dollars to replicate it ..he couldn't do it . I can, without any doubt say that Bigfoot does exist .

      Absolutely. Either thousands of people with no affiliation and zero knowledge of each other's experiences have been involved in a coordinated hoax over hundreds of years...OR, there's a large humanoid/ape species that we simply aren't aware of yet. Keep in mind that we JUST found out about an unknown species of ape in the Congo. So yes, Bigfoot is most definitely real.

      This a subject that brings out the worst in people. The DNA evidence put forth by David Paulides and Dr. Melba Ketchum is irrefutable. They had over 80 sample of hair, skin, scat, and nails. Only one lab out of multiple labs that tested the DNA agreed to release the results. The other labs were angry whenever they realized what they were testing and said it was ‘contaminated’. Likely, because of the mitochondrial (mother) DNA being human. Genbank traced the maternal DNA back hundreds of generations. What has always been most intriguing to me is that the Y-DNA (father) comes back unknown in GenBank, which is the largest catalog of DNA in the world. That is 100% proof of existence and also that it is a type of human and NOT an animal. Separate species are not able to breed, especially a human and any other species.

I darted in to get binoculars after the initial surprise and when I came back it was gone. We saw the red eyeshine on many occasions.

I was told that the creature we call Big Foot is a tribe of Indians, related to a certain tribe that had relations with this group of people.They even told of times when a "hairy one" would be born among the humans from a mating and they would do a ceremony to call the woods People and they would come and take and raise the child as theirs and at other times a hairless child would be born among the tribe of BF's and they'd come and call the Indian tribe in similar fashion which would then take the child and raise it as their own the same way. These children grew to superior heights and weights compared to the rest of the tribe and were greatly respected and revered usually becoming wise leaders according to this tale. I've only shared this with one other but they were all dead serious, with no laughter or funny biz going on. They know this tribe is real and some of them have seen them when hunting.

    They're real. Just remember that when you enter the treeline, you're entering their territory. That's their world. It's not your sandbox. Gotta show respect, and like with all animals/humans they're hunting, gathering food, caring for their young, protecting their families. So they will warn you and the warnings will get more intense. Most warnings won't involve anything other than a creepy feeling of being watched, but that will increase to a smell, rock throwing, tree breaks, and eventually growls and showing themselves. And no, like with most animals they're not interested in eating you, but they get old, they get ill and injured, and if they can't hunt then they're going to eat you like any bear or big cat. They might do what dolphins and elephants in musth do as well when their hormones are raging. So...the forests are always dangerous..although still less dangerous than cities. The forest is their home and they know you enter as soon as your car door slams. You're not sneaking up on them! They got boundaries like every other animal. We got the pavement brick walls and they got the dirt trees. Entering the forest means interfering with an animals schedule. They're out there gathering food, hunting, mating etc. Your impact is far more than leaving only footprints or camp fire ashes.

      You must have a bad vibe following you. The ones in my area are more than happy to share the territory with you and never become defensive or aggressive. Maybe they respect those that respect nature and the laws of mother earth. I can even knock down their tree breaks and use them for firewood without problems and they even push deer towards me while I'm in the tree stand. They will even stay quiet when they know I'm hunting. I leave them gifts but they never take them. The amazing thing is that if you try and get near them they will just pack up and move their entire family and home just to not bother you. Truly a specie that knows how to survive.

      They are 100% real but I wish we knew what they ate. Most likely plants just like gorillas, BUT, there has been a sighting of a grizzly bear running from something and the people said it was running from a Bigfoot. You could see hair ripped off and bite marks on the bear. If it was fighting a Bigfoot then maybe it was fighting over a animal carcass??? 🤔

    • @wheelmanstan
      @wheelmanstan 3 года назад +1

      @@kingong4185 Possible, but there's a lot of stories about cougars tearing up bears like that too. They hop on their backs and just rip them to shreds. Lots of old newspaper clippings and stuff with stories like that. Natives used to say the cougar usually one. Probably a mother cougar. They'd fight til they died of exhaustion or the bear got it's neck ripped and bled out. People probably don't think that's possible but bears have fat rumps, delicate throats, bad vision, narrow jaws, and claws for digging. Additional weight just goes to areas cats don't bite anyway and will just slow the bear down. Cats have four sets of meat shredders.
      I'd imagine a bigfoot would smash it with an object, rip off a paw or even its jaw or snap its legs. Kinda like in that King Kong film haha. I know they snap deer legs. Primates have crazy power but ripping off appendages is their strongsuit. Just my opinion. I'm sure a sasquatch would win against a bear since the forest is like it's tool shed. A bear comes for one and they just climb a tree, maybe heel stomp its face in til it falls and then smash it with a rock. haha, and sasquatch probably weigh as much as most bears so it would be rare encounters I think. Maybe just sasquatch scaring a bear from its meal. Spitballing.

Basically in studies apes appear to notice game cameras 100% of the time. Sometimes they avoid them, sometimes they play with them. A creature smarter than an ape and even more driven to shyness than a cougar could avoid the game cameras also IMO.

A National Forest is located there named Palmetto State Park, there have always been rumors of a “swamp monster”. Well, my uncle owns land across the highway from that place and one summer I was working there with him and my cousin. We took a few days off one week and then when we came back we found fish along a tank that were gutted as in cleaned like they were ready for a person to cook. The guts were gone, it was only the descent meat from these fish that were left along the shore. Very weird. Then a few minutes later we find a 15-17 inch foot print in some sand that was laid out by my uncle as a driveway for a spot in the back of his property. I have the picture where my cousin took off his shoe and showed the incredible size difference in the sand.

    I had a large boulder maybe 60# land in the sandy river in front me me steelhead fishing once. Never thought at the time it was Bigfoot but it tripped me out. It came from the steep bank across the river from a good 60’ or more up but when I looked I never saw a person and only saw ferns and large Douglas fir trees. No movement nothing and the rock sure didn’t roll into the middle of the river by itself. This was about 1-2 miles below the marmot dam on the upper sandy river near mt hood national forest. It pissed me off because it ruined the fishing.

    The thing that proves the Patterson-Gimlin film is real is the arm to leg ratio most of every human has a 20% ratio even the tallest people still have this ratio but patty had a 5% ratio to long for any human that's the way you know if it's a real bigfoot or a person in ape costume meaning the Patterson-Gimlin film is real it's not some man in a costume.

    • @danielweeks3723
      @danielweeks3723 2 года назад

      There's other stuff, but yes the body ratios kind of seal the deal. You know some body is gonna say that longer arms or legs were lengthened in one place and you know what we're gonna say: Can't relocated the human's joints.

You see the top upper half of it, from the rear. What struck me about it was the shear girth of its neck and shoulders, you could see the muscle definition in its upper back and the contraction of its muscle definition through its brownish fur as its was striding.Ive never seen anyone talk about it or never seen it anywhere apart from that time all those years ago. Id love to find it again but its just vanished

    Statements from people who say they're "at war" with them or "they're getting used to me" have to be bunk because if bigfoot is so habituated to these individuals then a photo opportunity or simply taking a non-bias 3rd party out to witness these events shouldn't be a problem but all we get are crickets.

      You're doing a lot of anthropomorphizing here. Great apes like gorillas & orangutans are strictly vegetarian. Chimps & bonobos use long thin sticks or stems of grasses to poke into holes to get ants & termites to eat. Other animals use tools, too. They'd have to use sharp stones to skin it, though, b/c they aren't going to order a hunting knife over the internet. Bonobos are not as violent as chimps. They have lots of sex instead. LOL Bonobos can relax & never have to fear that another bonobo will kill them. Chimpanzees & humans are the only primates that have to fear their own species. Chimps will kill & eat meat, & even each other. IDK if bonobos eat any meat other than ants & termites. I'm less familiar with their diet.
      SO, that leads to a few problems with your statement:
      1) We don't know what its diet is and it may be vegetarian like gorillas & orangutans (which, I might point out, live in entirely different regions of the world). Just because some hunters say, "Bigfoot took my deer," that sounds an awful lot like, "the one that got away," or "my dog ate my homework."
      2) If they are meat eaters, why would they skin the animal? Other wild animals don't do that. If these creatures exist, they ARE wild animals so we shouldn't ascribe to them human attributes.
