Okay she asked some good questions she seemed to really get Orville and the mask and his personality i really appreciate her in this interview.
And when I didn't think i could be more charmed by the compelling masked man, he name dropped Janelle Monae, Thierra Whack, Megan thee Stallion and Doja Cat. We have decided to stan for life.

I know Janelle Monae's work and love her, so I got a thrill when he mentioned her. And David Lynch! I knew he must have been a fan, his music gives me David Lynch vibes all the time!

A lovely, well modulated speaking voice. Very easy on the ears.
His voice starts higher, then when he realizes it, he goes deeper. It's part of his whole stage presence I think
I'm so glad he mentioned David Lynch. I've always said his music reminded me of a dream in a David Lynch film.

This guy is a already a fucking legend. He’s doing what pretty much every country music artist is afraid to do or doesn’t have the creativity to do. He’s LGBT, which is pretty much is an unspoken rule in country music that you can’t be gay, and he’s using theatricality that isn’t present in country music.
Roses Are Falling definitely sounds like something that would play at Twin Peaks' Bang-Bang Bar.

I hate country music, but his songs and "dramatic flair" makes me absolutely love him
His authentic and flamboyantly classic take on it is the anecdote we needed to the modern, soullessly pandering stadium country that's been dominating the airways for decades.
I like 90s and before that, but "modern" country is just top 40 pop with a steel guitar added in. Orville is seriously the only modern country-esque artist I care about.
Same - i can't stop listening...and there is something very calming about him.
His voice is just soooo smooth, even when he’s speaking.

Same, except more like 20 years. Country from the 2010s to now was awful. I was torturing my coworkers with some solid nostalgic 90s country when someone asked if I'd heard of Orville Peck. Haven't been able to stop listening to him since.

I have always loved country and I love seeing folks like Orville bringing classic country to the forefront of current culture. I’ve always struggled with articulating why I love country and he’s done it impeccably in this video. Love the queer renaissance in country, we’ve always been here and we always will be here.

@@mai567 Yeah, I'm one of those people, I usually listen to metal. Death metal especially. :D But a friend of mine ignored my protests and made me listen to his album - I remember the first song he played to me was 'Dead of Night' - and for some reason I just loved it immediately. His voice is simply mesmerizing.
