Sometimes, what I do when Outbreaks are not appearing correctly on the map is I zoom out of the entire map fully by pressing ZL. I don't know if it's too reliable, but I also reopen the map after closing it.
I think u got something wrong with the numbers… Either that or you’re the luckiest person alive, cuz getting two authentic ones seems to actually not be that easy. I’m on my 5th fake shiny right now… :( Edit: Make it 6
Slight correction to the info you shared, it's not that 95% of poltchageist in outbreaks are authentic, it's that game freak finally fixed the bug that caused all outbreaks to only be base form. So if you happen to get an artisan form outbreak all of the ones that are part of that outbreak and not random spawns from the area will be artisan. The side effects of this is it is not quite as easy as you make it seem here since you have to get lucky enough for your outbreak to be artisan forms for this to work, but also it means that you can now shiny hunt specifically for authentic sinistea as well using outbreaks if you get the authentic form as your outbreaks. Also you do not need to fly somewhere to fix the outbreaks on the map. You should be able to just close and reopen the map to correct the issue.
An important thing to note, if you want to hunt for specifically artisan form, try not to battle an artisan form, if you have a completed dlc dex and reset outbreaks if you've never battled artisan form you can potentially get a question mark outbreak which should end up being an outbreak of artisan form poltchageist. I was resetting outbreaks with a completed dex but with my only poltchageist I found being counterfeit I found a ? outbreak which ended up being mostly artisan poltchageist.
I keep finding the standard form in outbreaks and keep having to go and check the bottom of them, but if I understand correctly, your saying wait for a question mark to show up on the map?
Same result for me I just triggered it, but I'm not sure if that's exactly how it works since I'm getting ? for the Florgess colors and I know I've killed them and they are in my dex
There is a 50/50 chanse of getting artisan outbreak if you get it, then all sould be artisan 100%. Never make a sandwich with encounter power for ghost becouse this can mix in the opposite form of the ghost your trying to catch. I use for example humongous power insted. 3x sparkling ghost 3x title ghost 3x humongous power. This way the catch is guaranteed 100% artisan. Recipee is 1x strawberry 2x potato salad 2x spicy herba mystica.
just incase you really dont want to deal with memento, you can just catch a random litwick and it'll have imprison and memento. you may need to feed it a exp candy so it evolves into lampent so it can outspeed polchageist
Something that might help hunt this is this particular gallade. Imprison stops memento and trick ring target means you can false swipe it. Best of luck in your hunts everyone. I would not recommend using encounter power for hunting the artisan shiny Poltchageist. why? It increases the spawn rate outside the outbreak as well so you'll be seeing alot more counterfeit getting mixed into the spawns. Go with humungo power 3 instead to make them easier to see. You will need 1 red onion, 1 basil, 2 spicy herba mystica and 2 curry powder.
If you're doing outbreaks, Encounter Power is wasted, and may actually make things harder! I would suggest using a Sparkling + Title + Size sandwich for your hunts. You could use these recipes: Red Onion(Ghost)/Lettuce (Grass) Spicy HM + Non-Sweet HM + 2 Mustard (Humungo) Sour HM + Non-Sweet HM + 2 Mayonnaise (Teensy) Happy hunting!
I'm using herbed sausages + bitter+spicy+curry powder for humungo, Im lazy so i try to fix the flavor with spices instead of ingredients If you're super broke you can use Herbed Sausage + noodle + 3x potato salad + 1x rice; and quite a few variations of herbs, including 2x sweet (so you can get rid of them lol) This recipe works for most things you just gotta change out the herbed with your element and the amounts of noodles, salad and rice sometimes..... use simulator.

I got a Masterpiece one from a 6 star raid, my very first 6 star raid on Kitikami and I solod it… so I thought all the 6 star raid ones were Masterpiece… they are not. I just got super lucky from the day 1 raid. Super exciting. Game Freak knows how to keep me coming back.
Just started the DLC last night. I am still far too busy with Jedi survivor to dedicate more time to Scarlet and Violet. I took my shiny piplup from Pokémon HOME and leveled it fixed its stats and eventually just evolved it . I have wanted a shiny empoleon since diamond and pearl’s original release in 2007!! ❤ I got a shiny piplup by playing PLA at 2048 odds. I couldn’t believe it We will conquer Kitakami together 😂 a decade and some change later ain’t bad for my 1st and foremost favorite Starter Pokémon ever perhaps one of my favorites of all time. Never mind that it’s hidden ability completely changed the way that it plays and should have played a decade ago but the new Moveset as well😮 regardless of its availability I will be using it on ladder!!❤

Still am running through the MSQ, but might give it a go once it's done. 🥰 Also, my own experience with capturing Ghost type Pokémon in the wilds are: (a) Throw Quick Ball at it; or (b) Use a Pokémon with [Soak], and then False Swipe will work (since it'll turn into a Water type). Though (b) above may not be efficient (speed-wise), but it helps if you want to capture it in the ball type you want.
I just got an outbreak without using a sandwich and noticed that all of them had the authentic mark and I thought.. this can’t be right 😂 but this video confirmed it, thank you for covering it! I definitely think it’s not supposed to be this way and they’ll fix it, so better take advantage of it now and not to roast my eyes looking for one later 😂
Could be wrong but it seemed to me like using encounter lvl 3 sparkling sandwiches caused more counterfeits to spawn around. To be safe I’ve been using humungo 3 (red onion, salt, wasabi, spicy + sour HM) or (red onion, salt, x2 spicy HM). Drawback is that it will likely take a bit longer to hunt
So is it like you lucked out and found an authentic polchageist outbreak? Is there different kinds of outbreak? Seems to be the case. Some ppl saying if you havent caught a authentic polchageist it shows as "?" In the outbreak. Might be something to look for..
I found this outbreak, myself, a week ago and was able to get one with the uncommon mark! I highly recommend using a humungo power sandwich, though, because it makes it so much easier to see them (and you have that chance for it to be a jumbo Pokémon to get the jumbo mark, as an extra)
6:47 - I would amend this suggestion. Complete your real mask dex, but ensure you only catch a counterfeit polchageist. This way, when you are date skilling to find the outbreak. The question mark pop up can only be the artisan form. It will save you having to check which form the outbreak has.
Maybe its 100% but your encounter effect spawned it and not the outbreak, thats why I switch to humungo or teensy in the outbreak. All the 3's have sparking and title, but trade out encounter for other things, but the outbreak doesnt need enounter. Also I normally use something soak on ghosts so I can false swipe them. Also changes curses' effect to stop them from dying
Yeah exactly what I did in the stream, I’ve just cleaned up the process a little from the findings I got while doing it. Wanted to do the whole thing again off screen to Makesure it worked but seems like it’s something that can be repeat for others to get their shiny artisan forms as well. GL if you try this out

I just found out that if you have all 200 pokemon but have not captured/registered the Artisan form Poltchageist then it shows up as ? on the map if you reset for the outbreak

The first Poltchageist I caught wouldn't take the Unmarkable Teacup to evolve took me awhile to figure out that I needed the Masterpiece Teacup to evolve it. Should I evolve it or save my Masterpiece Teacup for if I can get a shiny one because my legit one isn't a shiny one?
DO NOT USE A GHOST ENCOUNTER SANDWICH ONCE U HAVE FOUND THE OITBREAK. This will start spawning some Potchageist that are NOT the Artisan form, so u risk finding an unauthentic shiny
Spent four hours with this method, and multiple endless resets later, I finally got a shiny...! Except it wasn't authentic, it was a counterfeit. Totally crushed and disappointed :(
If False Swipe isnt effective, use a Ruinous Mon to halve HP until it's easily catchable 😉 Amazing job getting us the Shiny Guides we need, as always. Can't wait to hunt this one! 😂
It’s so difficult to spot one option if you are having trouble seeing the difference is to use the let’s go feature if it’s a shiny your Pokemon won’t knock it out. Hope this helps and good luck getting this shiny :)
Im not 100% on the process but since that hard save was put down before the sandwich eas msde, do you just restart the game when the time runs out or do you just make a new sandwich? Are the odds/encounters already determined at that point? I have only gotten 2 herba mystica from 5 and 6 star raids as a total. 😂 so if i can reuse them in that way i absolutelt will.
Yesterday i did this..after using a sandwich once, i reset and used it again and got 2 in a row But what a pain to look out for the shiny...the difference is soo little
I had that issue with the sprites in the wrong places but i couldn't replicate it anymore after the latest update. Feel free to test it yourself but i think it may have been fixed.
I can confirm these bastards use Memento, btw. *They will blow up on you.* I REPEAT *THEY WILL BLOW UP ON YOU* That mark is so faint, too. Make sure to do the picnic or you will get beset upon by no less then 9 Heracrosses. Now to farm a shiny!
@@blade5448 Still trying for the outbreak. I had decent luck with an encounter lvl 3/ shiny lvl 3 sandwich, no outbreak. (I did lose my sandwich buff when the shiny first-turned memento on me but found a counterfeit shiny within 15 minutes). From the fast travel point go north until you reach a bamboo grove and a cave and make sure you have at least encounter rate 2 for ghosts.

This, this, 1,000 times this!! I completed my dex without encountering a artisan form, and got a "?" outbreak!!!!!

You can just catch one again and it will say if it’s artisan form or not if you don’t want to check the bottom
Easier to stack encounter power 2 ghost sandwich: 1 cherry tomato, 1 cucumber, 1 red onion, 1 green pepper. Seasonings are 1 vinegar, 1 salt, 1 olive oil.

Hot tip: everytime you move a day forward, zoom out the map, and then zoom back in and that should show the outbreaks

If you just close and reopen the map up to two times, it will show the pokemon outbreaks on the map. Worked for me every time.

I love how they fixed pokemon with forms outbreaks, you can now hunt shiny authentic Sinistea far, far easier as well.

Both forms show up in outbreaks, but you won't know which one you've got until you check the bottoms.

If you have a Pokémon with the Scrappy ability then you’ll be able to use false swipe on ghost type Pokémon
I think Hisuian Decidueye is currently the only pokemon in gen 9 that gets access to both Scrappy and False Swipe.

I caught a shiny Masterpiece Form in a 6 star within the first 5mins of dlc.
Just zoom out and in on the map and the outbreak will reappear

Can the fixed spawn, North of the Mossfell Confluence, be artisan?
You can click out of the map before going back in to fix the sprite spawn issue.
Instead of fast traveling you can close the map and reopen. Saves way more time for looking at outbreaks
doing a back strike gets you 2 pokeball attempts before they can move, and i’ve never needed more than 3 balls to catch

You can get more of either teacup by beating the Ogre Oustin' minigame on its hardest difficulty IIRC.
An artisan polychagiest will show up as a ? Mark if you only have it's counterfeit form registered

The odds are the same for Sinistea's authentic form. I don't think Polteageist appears in the wild outside of raid dens.

It’s so difficult to spot one option if you are having trouble seeing the difference is to use the let’s go feature if it’s a shiny your Pokemon won’t knock it out. Hope this helps and good luck getting this shiny :)

Im not 100% on the process but since that hard save was put down before the sandwich eas msde, do you just restart the game when the time runs out or do you just make a new sandwich? Are the odds/encounters already determined at that point?
I have only gotten 2 herba mystica from 5 and 6 star raids as a total. 😂 so if i can reuse them in that way i absolutelt will.

Yesterday i did this..after using a sandwich once, i reset and used it again and got 2 in a row
But what a pain to look out for the shiny...the difference is soo little
I had that issue with the sprites in the wrong places but i couldn't replicate it anymore after the latest update. Feel free to test it yourself but i think it may have been fixed.

@@blade5448 Still trying for the outbreak. I had decent luck with an encounter lvl 3/ shiny lvl 3 sandwich, no outbreak. (I did lose my sandwich buff when the shiny first-turned memento on me but found a counterfeit shiny within 15 minutes).
From the fast travel point go north until you reach a bamboo grove and a cave and make sure you have at least encounter rate 2 for ghosts.
