My fave time of year, too! I live across the road from a wooded area so it’s beautiful in the autumn.🍁I love to bundle up in a wooly jumper with a cuppa🫖and read on the front porch, overlooking the colourful woods.🍂
My order of favorite seasons is the same!! Autumn and winter are superior 😍 The Haunting of Aveline Jones sounds great, love that cover! And love all the middle grade options! I’ve been in a big cozy fantasy mood for fall, and really just fantasy in general (which is not different from the norm haha but it does feel perfect for fall). So excited for all the chunky knit sweaters and cozy things and all the fall activities ❤️
Loved the video...I also love Autumn/Halloween. You have inspired me to buy some spooky mugs/plates etc and embrace all things autumnal more fully. And I do love to wear a cosy jumper!!
You definitely put me in an autumn mood, even though our weather has yet to get the memo! You reminded me of Pax, which looks adorable but also potentially heartbreaking so I’m unsure 😂❤
I LOVED this!! I just read the first and second Aveline books and loved both. Waiting for no 3 from the library but I've already been waiting months for two other books so who knows iff I'll get it. I would love to go pumpkin picking I've never done it but I don't think I'll get to go this year. I'd love to do more but most of the time I will end up inside. Unfortunately my pain is only getting worse and my wheelchair will not come until mid October at the earliest dispite being told I would get it in time for going back to course 🙄 If they hadn't promised that I probably wouldn't be as annoyed. I'm also only managing to leave the house once or twice a week because I still have to walk which is agony. A lot of these books are on my POP now and some are thanks to you ❤ I also don't read romance in general I hate the tropes that are often used but the Ex Hex is on mine too. I've been doing some art for the season. I might DM you on insta to show you. 🎃🍁
@@MeMyDogAndBooks I can't wait to see your video. I hope to finally do something next year. I really need to learn to drive. Not only can i go to remote places then but public transport is not very accessible. here is no lift or ramp bridge in my town though its a "Commuter" town. and the buses that are supposed to have accessible sections, the hydrolics are never working so even though people in wheelchairs have to pre-book they are often left stranded. Which means that for appointments in other counties I will still have to use my waking frame. But as long as the companies are "seen to be doing" then they get away with it. 🙄
I certainly can, I will try and remember in the next weekend reading vlog I record, most have bookish insp, ghosty books, or ghosts reading books, alice in wonderland, and I have a few big book stack on my shoulder.
Great recommendations . Love your expressions when reading the blurbs. Happy reading 📚
He he I’m told my face often gives away my thoughts 😂
Yippeee for another HAPPY Johanna, Lucy and Pattie MidWeek TREAT AND the TBR grows again - PAX and NOW SHE IS WITCH added

That sounds amazing x
@@MeMyDogAndBooks I'm very fortunate. I just wish they hadn't built a road between our neighbourhood and the woods.

Yay people often think I’m weird when I say those are my fave seasons ! I think you’ll enjoy Aveline Jones. Will your fantasy reads include witches?
Love autumn especially walks in woods! 🎃🍂🍁
Me too!! The walks in the woods are the best
Autumn my favorite time also, great video loved it. I’m reading Stalking Jack The Ripper by Kerri Maniscalco. 🍁🎃
Oooh this sounds like a great autumn read!!! Off to see if my library has it
I also like the Goth girl books that I have read. They are just short funny like stories.
Glad to hear this 😊

I highly recommend Jennifer Killick for the middle grade vibes. Crater Lake and Dread Wood are fab!
Oh I recognise the title Deadwood!! Adding to my TBR
LOVE the Aveline Jones series so much! Excellent recommendation. And I have my eye on I Was a Teenage Slasher too 💀
It’s such a cosy series I think you’ll like the fright watch it’s spooky
@@MeMyDogAndBooks Ooo thank you for the recommendation, adding that to my list! 🎃
