Anybody know why Capcom stopped adding the Purple Shadow effect to Super Moves? I always thought that looked fucking cool ever since it was first introduced in Super Turbo.
hersh23 I agree. I would love to know how to apply that effect. My guess as to why they stopped is either they felt it was overused or system limitations. I'm not sure about the system limitation thing with current consoles being as powerful as they are.
+dezoriajin System limitations? - the shadow effect has been used even in the old SNES days with Alpha 2. The effect seems simple. Load five extra sprites that are purple and delay the super animation by a few frames each sprite.

Pausing the game would show that there was usually only one shadow present at all times, with the others quickly flickering on and off during the move Regardless, I just always found that Shadow look to be cool. Definitely a visual indicator that "What I'm doing now is stronger and cooler than before!".

if you have the american dreamcast version (its the only one I own), beat the normal arcade mode on 8 star difficulty without a continue, then on the character select screen, hold start+any button for color and he's yours to cheese with.

普通に防御してもファイナルサイコだと３分の１くらい体力が消し飛びますからね。
瞬獄殺を全攻撃見切って防御できるの今の所、元だけなんですよね。
