- Hello all, this is Buz again. Join me as I tackle Oldschool Runescape as painfully as possible beginning in chunk 11828. This episode we rattle some guards, capture some implings, and obtain the single most important item in all of Gielinor.

Hey Buz, I love your ambition but let's take a look at that task of getting 88 farming. Assuming you can cut about 1.1k oak logs per hour (which is what wiki suggests) You're looking at 4900ish hours of woodcutting. 4900 hours is roughly 204 days. Let's say you play 8 hours every day doing only woodcutting and banking the logs/nests you're looking at 613 days or about 1 and 2/3 of a year of just woodcutting. Cutting this many oak logs will get you over 200m wc xp and about 338m gp worth of logs (at 63 ea). For the sake of your well being I really hope you find a better method of getting the seeds or just postpone it till you at least have a second farming method. Hey there! Thanks for your concern. I will only be banking the first 777k oak logs (99 fm, fletch, con banked) then the rest will all be dropped which will speed up the nests a lot. I knew going in that this chunk will require a lot of woodcutting, which will fit my mobile playstyle well. It unfortunately does not fit very well with consistently creating videos for you guys. Implings could also play a role in speeding up the grind (willow seed from nature, possible magic seed from dragon), so we'll see if that can help as well. I do understand that this task sounds daunting, but that's exactly what I intend to do.
Assuming he uses 2t oaks and the tree never chops down at 99 wc w/ steel axe. Its 2356 logs per hour

Would be easier to get 99fm so you can kill giant mole with the fm cape as a light source . Add obtaining skill capes into your rules. Would still be a ton of effort. Just a thought.
Echoing some of the other comments, I admire your amazing dedication to your rules, however obtaining the farming pet in this first chunk is practically unreasonable. I've done some calculations below to illustrate why:
In your region, the only options you have to receive a roll for the pet is upon checking the health of a fully grown tree. You have exactly one tree patch, and you are limited solely to Oaks, Willows, Maples, Yews and Magics. The rates of obtaining the pet while at level 99 farming from each of these are:
Oak: 1 in 20,008 (growth time of 200 minutes; receiving pet at drop rate = 7.61 years)
Willow: 1 in 13,584 (growth time of 280 minutes; receiving pet at drop rate = 7.23 years)
Maple: 1 in 11,577 (growth time of 320 minutes; receiving pet at drop rate = 7.04 years)
Yew: 1 in 8,767 (growth time of 400 minutes; receiving pet at drop rate = 6.67 years)
Magic: 1 in 6,893 (growth time of 480 minutes; receiving pet at drop rate = 6.29 years)
This is all assuming you start at level 99 farming, the tree never dies of disease, and always plant the next seed immediately once the previous one finishes. Additionally, due to the RNG nature of this, you aren't guaranteed to go on rate either. For example, if you went with the best method (Magic trees) at level 99, below is the chance of receiving the pet after a certain amount of time:
1 year = 14.7%
2 years = 27.2%
3 years = 37.9%
4 years = 47.1%
5 years = 54.8%
6 years = 61.5%
7 years = 67.1%
8 years = 72.0%
9 years = 76.1%
10 years = 79.6%

Maybe consider creating a few videos of you just rambling on about what interesting methods you have discovered along the way. It could just be you chopping oak logs, just a thought.
I love the content. By far the most extreme one chunk I've seen yet. no exceptions and not afraid of the grind. I would say that you could maybe cut out the woodcutting grind for farming and still be one of the most extreme one chunks out there though. I might be saying that because i would like to see more content though lol either way, mad respect on being able to do this while taking care of the baby. i have a 3 year old and a 7 week old and have to find time for my grinds lol
as for the POH, dungeons, and other areas that aren't in the overworld, one option would be to only allow them once the chunk which the entrance is located has been unlocked. if they haven multiple entrances, only one is required. you could also consider the other entrances as possibilities when unlocking new chunks. would be interesting to sorta "fast travel" through the dungeon. if there is no entrance then it is free.
i would consider the house teleport to be one of its entrances, so no need to find a portal. just don't forget the runes to get out...

Buz, I grinded for medium clues to find the step, you do indeed get a medium key from the drunken man in Falador, I have pictures of the clue step and key if you'd like.
The clue was the chest in the house North of Yanille, kill a man for the key.

For the teleport rule, I feel like if the area has an overworld entrance, that chunk should be required for entrance. I feel like it breaks the reasoning behind locking yourself into a single chunk in the first place to teleport to fightpits/Burth games room. But the POH is owned by your account, and should be unlocked by simply purchasing the house.

I think we should allow you to get a light source on your acc so that you can do mole. Adds another level to the chunk and farming would be much more realistic with seed nests from wyson

For the POH, in my mind it's the access to an estate agent which should allow you to use a POH. It's not tied to a specific portal, they're just one way to access it, as is teleporting, teletabs, construction cape etc.

Voted Kinda Yes on the implings, but my preferred way for your onechuckie would honestly be scount and entangle, but dont lure (unless luring it yourself from another chuck - something like some others, limp included i think, allowed themselves to lure cows into their lumby spawn chuck and get their goodies. ). Love the content!
If you decide you can teleport to the Tzhaar fight pits then suddenly the fight caves are in your starting falador chunk which just doesn’t make sense to me.

I noticed that the underground also has chunks associated with their map. I wonder why no one-chunk account has considered the underground chunks as just more locked chunks that would need to be unlocked in the same way as overworld chunks. They all seem to go with either "unlock the whole dungeon as soon as one entrance is accessible" or "all of the underground is completely unlocked from the get-go, as long as you can get there and get out within an unlocked overworld chunk (including teleports)". Just seems like a weird oversight to me.

I think if you hold down the space bar while you use a knife on regular logs and make arrow shafts you can speed up woodcutting. Kind of like making teak stocks but with one extra interface so it is a little bit faster. I think I remember watching woox doing something similar during a DMM or Leagues.

Another great episode! It must be really nice to finally get to start catching implings, and hey, you could get some willow seeds from nature's... Every hundred or so... Or maybe magic seeds from dragon implings at 1\19? Every bits gotta help right? Though I do wonder, with enough help, if there might be a way to try and force spawn nature imps. Like if you had people locking down every imp spawn around the chunk and leaving you every rare spawn which will be nature or higher. It might be worth considering since you need to go all the way to tangleroot.
To do just about anything with nature+ implings, an alt with Dark Lure would have to be used. It wouldn't be a bad shout to consider dragon implings though. The high tier implings spawn at a set time every 30 minutes rather than ~2 minutes after being caught like the lower tier impling spawns, so it would turn into more of just mass scouting rather than force spawning. If not for dragon implings, it could still be useful for the willow seeds from natures. Thanks for the support and suggestions! :~)

I also spent like 45 minutes wracking my brain for some possible way you could get a light source, or something, anything that'd make the farming grind easier, but I've got nothing. Leave pets for the last requirement on a skill... once the 99 is achieved then the pet must follow? Or if the skill cape is available in the chunk and the skill is available to be trained then the pet comes into play...

Oh does it have to be at a farming patch? I was reading an explanation on the wiki for how to do it with teaks on fossil island, but couldn't replicate it on a normal oak. Makes sense now. It is very appreciated Mr Tick Manipulation Genius! Time to start practicing...

if you can think of a way to get swamp tar, teak logs or mahogany logs, those are going to be your best tick manipulation routes, but your only real consistent shot I can think of is doing 1.5t woodcutting on a planted tree, but I'm assuming you're going to try and always have a tree growing, which makes that not doable. If you did the holiday event (I'm like 40% sure you did) in fally you can use the snowglobe which is what f2p use for tick manip, but it's a bit awkward.
you can also tick manipulate by eating but that means having 5m+ food banked for all the logs you need
Unfortunately the holiday event required going into the Fally east chunk, so I wasn't able to complete it. Thanks for the brainstorming!

For the first vote, the ability to teleport to POH, you would have to consider that a games necklace allows you to teleport to Corporeal Beast, meaning you would instantly brick your account. I wouldn't see myself watching you struggle to kill Corp once let alone thousands of times to complete the log.
Or be able to minigame teleport to the Tzhaar Fight Pits today to start grinding out a Zuk pet... not quite what I had in mind for my Falador starting chunk. It baffles me that option is doing so well in the poll.
So you want to finish all the impling loot tables once you unlock the wheat prison?
