Ronnie Coleman has long been considered one of the greatest legends of bodybuilding in the history of the sport. So it seemed fitting when Generation Iron revealed the teaser trailer for the first ever authorized documentary about Ronnie Coleman's life at the Arnold Classic 2018.
Ronnie Coleman himself stopped by the Saturday Night finals and did an interview with Shawn Ray, Kai Greene, and director Vlad Yudin. Check out Ronnie talking about his experience with the movie and also his current surgeries. Watch the full interview above!

Really??? The guy had spinal fusion, disk decompression, 2 hip replacements and is posting video of himself doing shrugs with 160 lbs dumbbells with some of the worst form imaginable. Just the pressure of 320 lbs across your shoulders just holding the dumbbells is detrimental to your spine let alone the repeated jerking of them. It probably more than likely was a major factor to why he just needed surgery. His body is breaking down and I'm sure his doctors have told him he needs to stop lifting. Hell, most spinal patience are strictly told not to lift more than about 40 pounds.

Ronnie is such a down hearted nice guy , killed it in his life achieving greatness working hard deserves nothing but ultimate respect man good work. Kai green is a good life role model also, all the motivation and inspiration he gives.
Truth is, Ronnie looks like papa smurf next to Shawn now.
Love the video and all Generation Iron does! BUT PLEASE have your video editor learn a bit about audio compression, it is very simple and could have made this video so much easier to watch. Bodybuilding is on the rise and if we want it to be looked upon like the other pro sports we need to focus on showcasing it in a professional looking and sounding package. Otherwise it will forever be looked at in an indy, low budget, "not professional" light.
Its funny how skinny guys talks about ronnies getting his achievements, cause of the drugs (800lbs squat 2 reps, deadlist 2 reps etc) meanwhile jay cutler and kai greene wondering how it feels and being amazed with this( while both on the same drugs pretty much). Stop spreading this stupid philosophy that drugs make champions. No you wont become the next messi, ronnie ,, zambidis,tyson , etc etc if you take drugs. End of story.

A lot of people including me would like Phil more If he was more humble like Ronnie ... maybe it’s just the difference in generation but I’m around the same age as Phil and I see Kai being a way better ambassador then Phil is in this generation, I think that hurt bodybuilding more then anything I don’t think people got tired of the mass monsters I just think Phil isn’t as relatable as Ronnie , Jay, Flex , Dexter and Kai .... Ronnie LITERALLY sacrificed his body for bodybuilding. I would choose Arnold's bodybuilding life over Ronnie's any day, but there is absolutely no denying Ronnie gave it ALL for bodybuilding and built the sickest physique (bubble gut bonanza consideration aside).
