    Hi, I truly appreciate your excellent tutorial , from there I have more understanding the extended sleeve cap , although there’s involve to the basic sleeves . Yet I have no complete basic drafting instructions. Hopefully you could also have one of this video in the future. I have the faith that your tutorial is the very best ever !

    Wow! Love you’re tutorials. Could you do one about how sleeve angles affect mobility of the arms and how to fix it? I made a fitted bodice that fits me well, but I tried your tutorial with this sleeve and it was hard to lift my arms. since the bodice is a non stretch fitted garment the dress also moves up when I raise my hands

    • @LAMODÉLISTE
      @LAMODÉLISTE  3 года назад +1

      The dress will always move up when you lift your arm up. I think it’s normal in every garment.

    Hello and many thanks for this video! I would like to know if i should do the same thing for the sleeve lining ( if I make a jacket). Have a nice day!

    • @LAMODÉLISTE
      @LAMODÉLISTE  2 года назад

      Hi there good question, I made a garment for a client using this technique and I also made separate identical sleeves for the lining. I also made a custom foam to made it more thick and standing on its own. But instead of putting the pads inside between the lining and the self, I’ve inserted it outside to push the lining towards the wrong side of the Self to make it more stable, I hope this is clear for you 😇

      @MonicaMICU 2 года назад

      @@LAMODÉLISTE very clear, and so so detailed! Imagine I accidentally found this video while browsing for something else, not even related to sewing, but days ago I thought how I could clone a jacket with these sleeves I believe suit me a lot. Thanks again!

    • @LAMODÉLISTE

      So if you want to make the sleeve shorter, from elbow line mark down at least 2 inches - 2.5 inches. Thank you and congratulations in advanced to your daughter! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
