Derek Shelton, Andy Haines, and Ben Cherington are still employed. They are not serious.
If they're really serious, they should trade Michael A. for a couple of those donut looking bat weights for the on deck guys...
As long as Haines is part of this franchise they are not serious about winning. That guy can't tell the difference between a wet noodle and a dry one so how the hell can he be expected to fix a struggling hitters slump? Ya put stupid people in charge ya get stupid results.

Cherington staying asleep at the switch through the trade deadline would be hard to imagine, especially given the number of controllable young infielders that they have on their roster.
The word you are looking for to describe Cherington is prudent

Five years, This is that future. Plenty of rest and relaxation. I can imagine other teams wanting Paul Skenes, not just yet, but........... This is the time to hit the on switch, he needs to get on it. They have great pitching ! Hit the ball all over the place put a little style on it. Thank you DK Great show.

When Shelly keeps putting in a pinch hitter with a .150 or .170 BA in the 8th or 9th inning when we NEED a run to tie or win (or even a base runner) the coach proves he has a "participation trophy" mentality. Sorry! I don't mean to denigrate Youth Baseball coaches - been there and know how hard it is.

A lot of glass half-empty folks here. The NL Central is ripe for the taking and our rotation is more than good enough to carry the load, even with a mediocre lineup.
The lineup isn't mediocre, it is horrific. If u can't hit, pitching can only go so far.

However. The bullpen is a different story they have been taxiing back and forth from triple A. A bunch of retreads for at least a month hoping one would fit. Most have come up get destroyed in a couple games. Or signing no name no talent retreads that do the same.
If that acting desperately and sort of at odds that Cherrington takes his time making moves for this team..
Reason being there is no talent in the triple a to pool from. It's evident. Don't need to be a reporter to figure they one out.

Ben cherington is definitely slow in the head.. you can tell by his terrible management. I’ve asked before what fans can do.. is there a number or email we can blow up with dissatisfied letters?? Or do we need to send paper letters? I live in Oregon and I watch this team everyday for the last 15 years. I want to help my team get better in any small way I can.

The sooner they releaae Suwinski the better. I don't care that he hit 26 hr's last year. He strikes out 3 out of every 4 times. He's a liability.

Bring back Jacob Stallings. Why did Cherington get rid of him in the first place? For a couple of low level prospects that will never see the light of day. It's been a parade of terrible catchers since. Stallings, by the way, has an .865 OPS this season. For Colorado, but still.
He probably won't though because it would mean admitting a mistake.
