Letting go of hurt/sadness and holding on to what one thinks is true is the freedom of being
more of myself. It is intuitively known in this letting go.

"Forgiveness comes sometimes in droplets, in bits and pieces," says theologian Miroslav Volf, in our Consider Forgiveness video series. "We need to think of [forgiveness] as a practice, as living into something..."

My friend because you chose to forgive that does not make you a loser, in fact it makes you a winner. You win peace and freedom. The person who wronged you has already moved on from the incident but you remain with that terrible feeling of anger and hatred in your heart. As time goes by that feeling only grows and it hinders our strive for full happiness. If you dont forgibe, you harm yourself with the very hate you direct towards your neighbor.
You and I are not judges, Only God is Judge.

‪#‎TBT‬ “We need to not think of ‪#‎forgiveness‬ as a single punctual act of will… We need to think of it as a practice, as living into something…” says theologian Miroslav Volf in one of our most popular videos from our Consider Forgiveness series.

Forgiveness is Christianity in action. It is rooted in God's love for all of us based on the finished work of Christ on the cross.
