@@ChaosFragrances I've lost patience with "The One", which is a shame because the scent is so damn amazing.
I honestly feel like The One isn't meant to be some beastmode 10 hour projecting through a whole room scent. It works perfect going out to a nice restaurant or lounge setting real intimate environment. Sits closer to the skin when a lady comes in for a hug or some closer contact they will get hypnotized (at least how it works for me!!!)

UPDATE: Just got my bottle of Luminous Night in yesterday, tested it last night and absolutely LOVE the scent but I will admit I'm a teeny bit disappointed in the projection and longevity, it is more like it's Daddy and not his brothers Royal Night and Mysterious Night, those two have great projection and longevity as well as a great scent.
I wore it all day today and still love it.
I bought the EDP a couple of weeks ago and I thought it was a fake. The batch number was different and the bottle and package said “Made in Italy” and I couldn’t find anything on the internet that was the same as they all say “Made in France” I contacted Dolce and Gabbana directly and this is what they told me.”
“We are glad to inform you that until last year our perfumes were produced in France in partnership with Shiseido while our fragrances are now Made in Italy directly by us Dolce&Gabbana.
Thought this was a cool piece of information.
I made this GOLD purchase and am very satisfied with it. I attempt to base my personal like/dislike for any specific fragrance on its own DNA, projection, longevity, and as much as possible, avoid comparison, especially to flankers in the same line. Making a comparison seems like a natural thing to do. Yet I like to experience the specific fragrance as a stand-alone with as little comparison as possible. Comparison is something I had to do when I was making decisions while only possessing a few bottles. I have developed a very real appreciation for fragrances and own in the neighborhood of 150 fragrances. I focus primarily on the overall performance and scent of the fragrance in front of me. For example, I’m drawn also to the D&G Light Blue line of fragrances. I have the original, the intense flanker, and 8 other limited edition flankers. The most recent Light Blue release, Forever, did not work for me at all!! I didn’t avoid the purchase because Light Blue Love is Love smells better. I saved my money because Forever went tart/sour with my chemistry. Very unpleasant! Just a thought I wanted to share…
D&G The One Gold Smudge

I just bought this one and when I smelled it at the store I was hooked. I had The One edp before and I think the edp is better but you can have the gold on a warmer day without the smell going crazy (at least a bit warmer than the edp). The edp is the one but gold isn't far away to be honest.
My favorite pickup recently is ck for men euphoria amber gold. Its the one edp mixed with serge letans ambre sultan . Masterpiece. Discontinued but u can still find it .
Huge fan of the One series, Really digging Royal Night, Intense and if you haven't tried it, Mysterious Night, I was a little worried about it because of the Rose but I really like it, FINALLY scored Luminous Night, should be here in a few days and I'm really looking forward to it.
Prolly pass on the gold version.

@@ChaosFragrances Looking forward to hearing your thoughts about it, IMO I get the same performance as I do with Royal night, I think they perform and project better than the O.G. Hoping Luminous night is in line with those, I'll know next Wednesday because that's when it will be in!
Where did you buy The One Luminous Night, if you don't mind my asking? I'm waiting for it to (hopefully) hit discounters.
@@JT-rx1eo Fragrance Buy Canada, no lie they had it for about 5 minutes, I was on their site and saw they finally started stocking it so I put it in my wish-list (out of stock at the time) and I was looking at a few other things, then I figured I'd sign up for an e-mail when it came into stock, I put something else in my wish-list and saw it was in stock so ordered it immediately, then got two e-mails from them, one saying I ordered it and one saying it was in stock, I clicked on the one saying it was in stock to see if it would let me order another and it was then out of stock again, been out ever since. BTW it was $110.85
@@Libertarian1776 Thanks for the info. Maybe I should monitor Fragrance Buy Canada. I'm afraid Luminous Night will never go beyond limited release and never really hit numerous discounters and then be discontinued.
I just searched again and did not find one single instance of it anywhere, including Ebay. Tons of Mysterious Night but not a single Luminous Night. Sadly I think that the limited release has run its course and that'll be it.

@@shaunleonard3878 ok good to know. I smelled the EDT and really like it but put off by the reviews and lack of longevity. Its also hard to find a 1.7oz in the EDP at a sub 50 price
.....and I'm still waiting on The One Luminous Night to hit the discounters.
And its gold. Use Creed Royal Oud as inspiration. That's the most golden regal scent ever.

What do you mean by ‘flanker’?
This was 2 months ago and I’m sure you found out what it meant… but here’s the definition anyways lol flanker refers to newly created perfume that shares some attributes of an already existing perfume. These attributes may be the name, packaging or notes of the existing fragrance.
