im pretty sure even if they're not eldest, if the *for instance* middle child, was 1 year younger then the eldest, but had royal blood, but the eldest didnt have royal blood because they're adopted, the middle would rule, since they are the eldest *with* royal blood.
Lila is not of royal blood and if she is, she's still not related to the queen and she is just adopted unless it is in her will that they shall be the one to be next in thrown or she declares she shall be the next in line.
