We'll never see Stormgate's factions THIS Unbalanced again! (beta gameplay)

MaNa (Infernals) faced off against Kiwian (Vanguard) in this Stormgate Beta (Devastator build) show match cast by PiG. At this stage of the beta, Kiwian is known to be the best attacking Vanguard player but it is near impossible to defeat a good Infernals player such as MaNa while the balance is out of whack. It is expected that the balance will be fine tuned when the game is ready for Early Access release in mid 2024.

Honestly I love the speculation and asking questions from the casters. It reminds me of early SC2 casts where the caster would explain exactly what's happening, even if it seems obvious now. It just help make us more comfortable with the fundamentals and understand the significance of minute differences in the game, since we're all so new to it.

I feel like your the only channel that is admitting how disgusting the balance is at the moment. I agree with everyone who says its beta and balance isn't their first priority by any stretch of the imagination. But its quite frustrating to try and play and learn the game at the moment with how its happening. I personally wonder how the bad balance is going to affect the team next fest and the open beta stuff.
Also, can you believe... infernal got buffed? They made brutes auto split on death, and shut down bob overcharge to a single cooldown rather than each base independently. I think vanguard had too high of a winrate.

I've heard from a few players they think vanguard might be favoured after a week or two more of elephant. Will be posting the first cast from that build later tonight

@@PiGCastsTwo Badass. I did manage to catch probe and ask him some things and my first question was about defending with a FE and i was like "is this (gaunt push) imba or do I suck"

the new Elephant build is embargoed until Next Fest begins. The videos out on this channel so far are the from the Devastator build preceding it

Its not optional, just shows where the buildings are reallied, cant do anythinga bout it atm.

yeah i get the purpose it's just kind of distracting to look at specially when watching a cast. I would imagine people who made wc and sc would know about a better audience experience@@itsMerikh

Replay and observer functionality is super basic right now. Lots of fundamental work still to be done on the actual factions/units/gameplay thats probably taking priority right now I'd guess.
