I think it would be cool to see a professional investigator/detective take on some puzzles so we can see what kind of deductive reasoning and approach they use
Investigating and solving puzzles take 2 different skill sets. One is interviewing people and looking at evidence, the other is a puzzle. Its mechanical.
Loved the video!!! A surgeon would be interesting both with their problem-solving skills as well as the dexterity requirements. Especially for the Hanayama puzzles. 👀
This is a great format and way to reuse old puzzles. I would love to see more videos like this. It's nice seeing others experience the joy of puzzles. It also feels like a gameshow, which is quite fun.
Imagine Chris getting some of the best puzzle makers and escape room makers together to create some escape rooms and challenging a handful of folks like rocket scientists , mathematicians, coders etc to escape the ultimate room.
You jammed him up when you told him it was a tetrahedron! He's an engineer, he immediately started doing 3D transforms! That's a horrible GAG to drop on an engineer! But you knew that! CHEATING! 😂😂😂
J'aime beaucoup ce type de vidéo! 🥰 Comme certains ont inscrits, bonne façon de réutiliser les puzzles déjà fait tout en voyant une nouvelle perspective de résolution. Great work! All the suggestions are good, you must do all of them! Pretty sure you have enough puzzles for that! 😁
I have an obsession with puzzles and not like 200pc puzzle you do on a table, but like these puzzles from this video and the time and knowledge that that was put into making that last one is so fascinating to me!! Love watching your videos keep them coming!!!!
Great new video format! Seeing how others battle the old puzzles is great fun! Can’t wait for more like this. Some of the ideas for who to try it next are really good! Like a video gamer, a detective, or an escape room designer. Great video Chris!
This is a cool idea!! You could definitely do like surgeons, detectives, treasure hunters, architects, etc but like pair them up with puzzles that fit their jobs! Great stuff man!
I'm in demolition, and a puzzle lover. We don't use explosives, the entire building is a puzzle. To take it apart properly, and in a safe order, you must know how things are put together. Please sir, find a hands-on demo pro. ✌️
I absolutely love this concept. It would awesome to see an astrophysicist (say Neil deGrasse Tyson), some different athletes that watch your videos, or maybe even Spider-Man (since he’s a fan apparently) take on some of your puzzles
Dan - I’m chuffed to bits for you and the team. What you have achieved over the years, and especially the past six months is SERIOUSly impressive. Thank you for sharing it with us.
I love all your videos but have to admit the puzzles are the first thing that grabbed me WAY back when. I then started learning sleight of hand magic and cardistry from you! Would be amazing to meet you someday! I think an engineer would be a good one to take on the puzzle challenge. Thanks for all the awesome entertainment over the years!! You rock!!
I like the new format of bringing other guys in. It would also be interesting if you put up a challenge for others to solve the same puzzles side by side faster than you. :-)
I love everything about this video. Giving back to others, seeing a different persons perspective on how to solve something. Get to compare to your own solves. Love it!
I say to the professionals to take on the puzzles are the following 1. A teacher (from the age children started to got to schools to university level.) 2. A doctor (GP/MD/MD/PHD) 3. Sport star (wrestler/football(soccer)/rugby(football) 4. A tv celebrity 5. A chef 6 a professor Are some few. If I choose any of them it be a teacher
Love this type of new content, whenever you put money on the line, it can make any situation interesting and just build up suspense 🙏🏾 great to see you keep the puzzle community interesting and fun 🔥🔥🔥
Love this new content format and the donation vibe also! As a Firefighter I'd love to see a fellow dragon slayer take on a puzzle and maybe donations go to the Fallen Firefighters Association or Burn Foundation!!
Have a thumbnail in RUclips's suggested-videos column with a couple _potential_ challengers: Ex-Mythbuster Adam Savage & Matt Parker of Stand-Up Maths. They're into off-beat projects, including meeting up to do a few "One-Day Build" videos together. [🤷♂You can ask, anyway!]
This is such an awesome video, I loved that its something a lil different but we got to see Chris coaching like a big brother, and He's donating to an awesome cause?! I'd love to see more stuff like this.
This was really impressive! I always found it interesting to watch highly intelligent people run through problem-solving exercises, where they have to put their intellectual skills to work.
Dude, you are really reimagining & recreating the puzzle aspect of your channel in an amazing way. Love it. Next profession: Someone that works with AI. Or, at least, electrical engineering / computer science. Curious how others in my degrees would handle these. Also, get that chess master from New York on for puzzles; the one with the YT channel. Like make him solve puzzles whilst playing against you in chess. :D
A Mechanical engineer, they spend a lot of time puzzling out new and unique ways to make joints, screws and other structural arrangements to improve, reduce and lighten things.
I like this concept for the puzzle videos! A good way to revamp some of the puzzles you've had around for awhile and make use of your ever growing collection lol
As a fellow rocket scientist, way to represent! Watching this, I probably would've tackled each puzzle in a similar way. Gotta have that pen and paper lol
This isn’t a profession but they say people with dyslexia are better at puzzle solving and seeing things in that way so that would definitely be cool to watch
I enjoyed the new editing! Good work guys! As for the next guest, maybe a mathematician, or physicist? I think they need to open their creative side of the brain a little more to solve some of the puzzles. It'd be fun.
Great video (& title) and I love the concept! It was interesting to see his way of thinking and how he approached each puzzle! As always the video quality is fabulous! 🧩🚀🚀
Thanks for watching! Definitely a new type of puzzle video. Let me know which profession you would like to see tackle some of my puzzles!!
Hi Chris!
Heyyy
Escape Room designers. :D
A Engineer or maybe later on if this becomes more of a series, a puzzledesigner.
How about an orthopedic surgeon?
I think it would be cool to see a professional investigator/detective take on some puzzles so we can see what kind of deductive reasoning and approach they use
How about a professional wrestler... or Mike Tyson :D
This is a great idea
Yeah, like an FBI profiler or something like that. Those guys are masters at critical thinking.
Investigating and solving puzzles take 2 different skill sets. One is interviewing people and looking at evidence, the other is a puzzle. Its mechanical.

Ohh good call on the Hanayamas
@@ChrisRamsay52 Medlife Crisis would take on the challenge for sure
Great video!
Wouldn't mind seeing a locksmith try out the puzzles haha
Ooooo love this!
@@ChrisRamsay52 Lockpickinglawyer collab soon?
@@tyfunk8614 He would just figure out how to open the last panel without solving any of the puzzle
Lockpickinglawyer here, and I have a sledge hammer.
@@tyfunk8614 "We'll try that again to make sure it wasn't a fluke"

Guillaume was excellent, very well done to him and congrats to the team. Thanks Chris ❤
I love this format. I would call it passing the torch, but it is more like kicking them out of the boat to see if they can swim.
Testing their worthiness
Imagine Chris getting some of the best puzzle makers and escape room makers together to create some escape rooms and challenging a handful of folks like rocket scientists , mathematicians, coders etc to escape the ultimate room.
Don’t act like you still gave them 1k from the goodness of your heart… you know you just wanted your face on the rocket 😂😂
My thoughts too 😂😂😂
He paid the "face-on-the-rocket"-tax 😂
CHRIS U SHOULD DO ANOTHER ESCAPE ROOM
Yes
Fun to watch as always...the production of these videos just never fail. Awesome work. 🚀
Glad you enjoy it!
@@ChrisRamsay52 Could you do a real time video of you trying to figure out a puzzle also I love your videos.
You jammed him up when you told him it was a tetrahedron! He's an engineer, he immediately started doing 3D transforms! That's a horrible GAG to drop on an engineer! But you knew that! CHEATING! 😂😂😂
This is a great video, I love the 'giving back'

This format is fantastic. Really enjoyed it.
Loving the new formats!
Love this concept. Absolutely would want more.
Now, when do we get to see you try to build a rocket?
I love the concept ! I wish to know more about your challenger. I'd love to see à marketing guy.. They think they know everything 😂
I am liking this series where you get people from different professions trying to solve these puzzles.
I think it would be fun to see the puzzle makers challenge each other.

great video, I would love to see a race between a mathematician and a engineer. Or a software engineer vs a mechanical engineer.
A professional cryptic crossword setter should be good at some of your puzzles, Chris 🙂
Love this type of new content, whenever you put money on the line, it can make any situation interesting and just build up suspense 🙏🏾 great to see you keep the puzzle community interesting and fun 🔥🔥🔥
its crazy to me that when told to make a pyramid, he is a little confused. But then chris says "tetrahedron" and he's like "Ah! Yes!"
He just couldn’t resist the idea of having his face on the rocket.
Sick video. That last puzzle was awesome!
I was really enjoying this!
I'd like to see a cabinet maker/carpenter as well a bridge builder and an astrologist.

Super content! Loved it! Definitely would like to see more of these challenges!
Let's get a detective next time🕵️♂️
Na, we all know the full $1000 was just secretly to get your face on a rocket. Helping them out was just the cherry on top. :)
It’s just so amazing, how with such a high level of intelligence, that the easiest of puzzles can confuse or stump you.
I think it would be interesting to see a civil engineer attempt some puzzles.
Great idea! Love to see how different minds think to solve the same problem!
I love this new style of video! Keep them coming!
♥️♥️♥️ That was so much fun to watch! And I’m so glad you gave them the full $1000!! ♥️♥️♥️
How about a neuroscientist next! 😎
