Mars, if you want the color to stick to your hair DO NOT shower right before dying it! Dye 1-3 day old hair, it’ll hold the color a lot better! Also, it needs to be 100% dry!

It’ll still stick to washed hair I’d actually prefer it so that once you dye your hair and rinse the dye out you don’t have to wash your hair in the next day or two to preserve the color

Cosmetologist here! Your application is exactlyyyyy how I was taught in school 💕 but I've seen some comments saying you're supposed to apply to 2nd or 3rd day hair....this product is semi permanent, so you would need to wash your hair with just shampoo to open the cuticle and allow the semi permanent color to "stick". You're also supposed to apply it on damp hair. And after it's developed, then you rinse and condition. Keep in mind this applies to this particular product 😉
Permanent color and bleach is applied to dry hair and you would have to have slightly oily hair to protect your hair and scalp 💕💕

You have to put a shower cap or a plaatic bag on your head after coating it with the day, the reason your hair felt crispy is that the dye dried while in your hair and stopped working too early

I started dying my hair black a couple months ago. My natural colour was just like ur natural colour. The colour turned out better if you do not wash your hair before dying and if you don’t wash your hair a couple days prior to dying. Also just rinse your hair after dying and use whatever came with the die to wash it but don’t actually wash it after for like 2 days.

If you put moisturiser on your face, neck and ears or where ever the dye may go and it will stop the dye from staining your skin
This dye is just a rinse. It doesn't damage your hair only deposits color. Next time you should cover it with a plastic cap to keep the moisture in and leave it on longer but it did get darker.
